Some recent posts have had me well and truly gobsmacked! We are a team that's in transition and we're gradually strengthening our squad. There have been a couple of players that maybe shouldn't have been sold but name me one manager that has not made mistakes? Some of the football that I have witnessed this season is by far the best I've seen over the 35 years that I've been watching Stoke. At times it really works, others in does not but Jesus I've been amazed at how impressive it's been at times. Come on lads, we're on the up after a pretty shit few weeks. Sorry, it needed saying, especially to the ones that boo our team! You can fuck that outlook straight off..........you wont fit in on here spouting that type of shit. Its the future to boo the team, get on their backs, ridicule them with silly names on internet forums..........it will have them back on the right track and to winning ways before you know it, fuck this confidence building and unity, drive them in to the dirt to get results, we are in the Premier league now and we should never lose in the premier league EVER! Maybe I should start booing too

I think Everton have shown us how to win and lose this season. Either go for it win or go for it and lose but for goodness sake don't just not turn up. It's not complicated. The fans want to see their team win or go down all guns blazing. This might be a simple point but sparky needs to make sure it happens.

Bojan is obviously confident that we're going onto bigger and better things.

Sorry, it needed saying, especially to the ones that boo our team! For me we are one central defender and one striker off having a ridiculously good team... Butland Johnson new cb Shawcross Pieters Imbula Afellay Shaqiri Bojan Arnie New cf (or a miraculous come back by Diouf) If we've signed Berahino or a striker of his ilk and got a new centre back into what would be a very settled team by September 1st then we are going to have one hell of a season next time around under Hughes, or have a very easy job for another manager to walk into. Of course that won't stop some people whinging every day between now and then. And God help us if we can't pull off those signings (even though Wollscheid, Muniesa , Diouf or Joselu would hopefully play well enough for long enough by then to make that situation still pretty good). That's despite the fact we might even finish top half for the 3rd season running which we'd never achieved once in a lot of fans ' lifetimes.

Hopefully the result today will make a few people / fans a bit more positive. Tremendous effort by a makeshift back four and some key players missing.
