Just watched the big lad on MOTD. I could bloody cry. Felt exactly the same mate We always knew him and Ryan were great together. Only now is it starting to look like they were a one in a million partnership. Quite possibly the two biggest reasons for our transition to genuine top flight fixtures. The rock on which we built everything.

The most annoying thing there really is no element of hindsight about it. There was a 10 page thread on thus messageboard of people saying 'don't let him go it will bite us on the arse'. Unforced error.
Absolutely.
I don't know anyone who agreed with the decision to sell him to Leicester. Imagine how many more points we would have if we had benefitted from Huth's 4-5 goals a season from set pieces?
Also, do we really need centre backs who are good a 'playing the ball? Bollocks, all they do is just lay it of for a midfielder and launch the odd one up to a big striker - Huth would have been fine.
I do rate Wollscheid though, I think yesterday was a result of the malaise spread through the defence as a result of Muniesa playing at CB.
Some of the performances I have seen from Muniesa at CB, from last season at Blackburn, and I think at home to Man City, and this season at Norwich, Man U, and yesterday, are the worst I have ever seen from a Centre Back.
Laughable
There are a few on here who think we did good business selling Huth and replacing him with Wolfy, I kid you not these people exist.

I think you will find that the clean sheets period coincided with the return of Ryan, I did predict it would now he is out again we have gone to rat shit again, our defence and in particular our central defence including Huth's replacement look very poor to say the least.

He has scored more than 3 goals in two seasons. He was a great centre back for us and formed a top pairing with Ryan when we had a back to the wall approach to games. Yes I wish we had him on the books now but let's not get carried away with his goal-scoring prowess.

Huth was one of my favourite ever players. I loved his never say die attitude. I loved the way opposition players pulled out of fifty fifty challenges with him. Some say he was sold because he couldn't play The Hughes way. We should never have sold him. Hughes and Ryan could have provided a great platform and I'm sure he could have tippy tappied it back and forth to Ryan and Whelan. Hughes dropped a massive bollock

I lost any respect I had for Huth the day that he sneaked round the back of our defensive wall and punched Matthew Upson (then playing for West Ham) for no apparent reason, an act of sheer cowardice that I never forgot (unlike many on here who now seem to see him as some kind of god!) Watch the first few minutes of our cup semi against Bolton and explain to me how the ref didn't spot Huth assault Kevin Davies! How would he be viewed if he had given away a needless and senseless penalty in that match? Huth seems to have the same gift of getting away with elbowing opponents as Fellaini, so forgive me if I don't join certain people weeping and wailing about this coward moving on!

Hope everyone's got their annual leave booked for May. Wouldn't want to miss Leicester's open top bus tour. If you shout loud enough then Huth might even wave at you.

Huth wanted go because he wasn't guaranteed first team football, if we hadn't of had so many injuries he would still be on the bench,he doesn't play for us any more move on

I think you need to reconsider the definition of the word! Been watching Stoke since 1969 and seen lots of 'legends'. Huth don't qualify!
