Why are some people so dismissive of Leicester and talk of 'love-ins' and 'don't get it'? Don't get what exactly? For Leicester read Stoke City or Derby or any number of other clubs with no real hope of ever challenging the 'big boys'. They are, with no arrogance whatsoever, throwing down the gauntlet to the 'big boys' and I sincerely hope they do it. When we made 'The Promised Land' some 7 years ago now the team that faced us that day were relegated to the third tier of English football. Since then, they have fought their way back to the top division, recorded a record number of points in winning The Championship and their main striker was,not so long ago terrorising none league defences until reaching the dizzy heights of Fleetwood Town. They have a likeable and vastly experienced manager, a common sense down to earth approach and our beloved ex German marshalling their defence. Why on earth would fans of clubs like Stoke City not want them to succeed. Bloody good luck to them.......KICK ASS LEICESTER! OK, got that off my chest.....now who WILL win it? Well Leicester of course but, failing that........I'm afraid it will be bloody Arsenal. Manchester City's defence is bloody awful. Of course they miss Kompany but let's get this right....he was NOT PLAYING WELL before he got injured so I don't think he's going to come along and salvage their season. It looks like this is directed towards me so I'll make my response simple. I don't like Leicester, had an extremely nasty experience at their place once which is the main reason. As for their arrogance, when they came up there were plenty on here slagging their fans off as they were shouting how they would walk the league and beat shit like Stoke. You may have forgotten this but I certainly haven't. It's easy to be humble when you are top of the league. I don't disagree about the manager. I think Ranieri is fun and was harshly treated in the past. But what it truly boils down to for me is that I take a lot of pride in my club being number 1 in the midlands, I don't want us to be number 2. I'm jealous in some respects and don't mind admitting it. Their play is not disimilar to a 100 mile an hour version of Pulisball which we occasionally played and played well. Did we get plaudits? Did we F**k.

Leicester have been untouched by injurt this season.
9 of theit team on Saturdayhad featured in at least 21 of 23 league games this season. If they can continue with this remarkable injury free spell thsy could go the distance. They have only played 3 cup games and they selected virtual reserve teams in all of them.
No injuries and almost half the games of their rivals is a huge advantage. They may just do it.
Long term injuries to Vardy, Mahrez, Huth and Kante and they will do well to finish top half.

The gripe people have with Leicester is that their supporters are a bunch of fucking gimps, but I want them to win the league and this is why.
1. If Leicester win this title it will haunt Arsenal for a long time. This is the most wide open league in my memory, when people talk about The Championship being a league where anyone can beat anyone, well this season that applies to The Premiership. It's been apparent for months now that if one of the top few clubs can put an extended run together then they'll break away but so far nobody has been capable of doing that. If Leicester (or failing that Spurs) manage to stagger over the finish line then Arsenal will suspect that they won't get a better chance for another decade and their tears and moans on AFTV will provide me with hours of entertainment and wanking material.
2. As a bloke in his mid-twenties I've long pined for the days when provincial clubs had realistic aspirations of winning the title as was the case in the 70s and 80s. If Leicester win it then, whilst it could in actuality just be a once every 30/40 years freak occurrence it still gives hope to dozens of other clubs throughout the leagues that it can be done. It will literally reinvigorate the football league. No longer will we all despair at the thought that the only way we can realistically expect to even make top 4 is with a filthy-rich foreign benefactor.
3. Whilst this season may just be a freak occurrence, it would be somewhat of a coincidence that it has come at the same time as the huge increase in the tv deal. If Leicester make even just the top 4, it will create an almost self-fulfilling prophecy effect. It will make less glamorous clubs seem like options worth more consideration for top players than if it was just a normal season with a predictable top 5 or 6 and a big gap to the rest of us. So in a way, whilst this season might be a freak occurrence, Leicester's success could well extend an anomalous run, which of course benefits a club like ours.
4. One of the key reasons our league generates more tv revenue than La Liga despite Real Madrid and Barcelona possessing the world's best players is that, whilst a very small percentage of fanboys prefer to drool over the super-teams in Spain dicking the other clubs 10-2 and 0-6, the majority of people prefer to see the likes of Man City getting torn apart by us or the likes of Chelsea losing at home to Bournemouth. The competitiveness from top to bottom is a big appeal for the vast majority who follow the action from afar. In the last two decades people have rightfully pointed out that, whilst game-to-game predictability isn't easy, over a season it's almost a lock which teams will make the top 4. But it isn't anymore and if Leicester finish 4th or higher then we could maybe see an even larger increase in TV revenue in the coming seasons, and if this season is a result of the increased revenue narrowing the gap then it's possible that Leicester winning could result in that gap being narrowed even further.
5. It will make The Champions League more fun to watch, just like it was an exciting novelty seeing Spurs when they were last in it.
6. I fucking hate arsenal.

Did we F**k. Wasn't really directed at any individual in particular mate but just find it hard to understand why people wouldn't want a club like Leicester (similar to our own) to 'shove it up' the big boys for a change. Yes, obviously I'd rather it was us but you have to hand it to them because what they're doing so far this season is pretty remarkable and no one would have predicted it. I get your point about the lack of respect we were afforded but, lets be honest mate, did we ever sit on top of the Premier League? It's beginning to look like they might just hang around up there all season and it really is impossible to overstate how amazing that would be. I don't have to particularly like the club (although I have no problem with them) to appreciate what they are doing this season. They are proving to all clubs like ours that IT CAN BE DONE so, for that, I'm totally with them.
