^ That little lot should feed the heads for a while. Captive audience... ".. and to protect himself from crepuscular radiation he always wore a fez." Nice tunes, so far.

Playing a bit of catch up in the archives over the last few days. pages 55-60 rather groovy and worth a review. Liked the old school Bromley mixes. Part 1 of the 25th anniversary Golden job this weekend. Don't know what to wear. keelesu.com/ents/event/2230/

That might put me in danger of excessive sweating and then risking hypothermic shock on the way wom. That main hall up at Keele is a bit of an unforgiving cavern. Probably go a bit outdoor casual and hang around the periphery. Walk home if I'm not feeling it etc. Summat'll happen. Thankfully it's not a Gatecrasher with nappies and dummies etc, it's Stoke.

I've been talking to a few old friends back in Stoke this week and I'm a bit gutted I'm missing this, although I'm betting a good number of my old cohorts in attendance will be feeling the pain on Monday morning. I don't know much about the venue at Keele, but I remember the sweat dripping off the ceiling and down the walls back in the day at The Academy. Have vivid memories of walking out of that place looking like I'de been for a leisurely stroll through a swamp. Good times, would love to catch up with a few old heads on Saturday, if only to see the state of them in the midst of a post-party middle aged mess. Recapturing your youth can be a spectacular spectator sport.

Recapturing your youth can be a spectacular spectator sport. There will be casualties. In times of yore I would have been more confident of getting a bed. Have to do a bit of contingency planning in advance these days, but there's three rooms to go at. I'll no doubt gravitate towards the kitchen. It'll be a laugh.
