I think you're getting hung up on the phrasing for some reason. Me? Thats hilarious. Yeah. You seem preoccupied with the term 'all time low'. That's probably hyperbole but it's still embarrassing for him to spin their result and performance today as a positive.

OK then fuckers, if we (God forbid) lose to Villa at home in a few weeks time, please remember how much they have spent on their team before pissing your knickers, calling our manager clueless, slating our players and questioning why players were sold years ago.
To be honest it sounds a bit of a bonus game to me, after-all they did when the European Cup fucking eons ago.

Yes he did! Here's the link to the video www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/35393565I know stats don't tell everything but Villa had 61% possession, 15 shots (to West Brom's 4), 4 on target (to West Brom's 0!). West Brom were at home too! Shocking stuff. You know whats more shocking, 15 shots and 4 on target.

Betting 0-0 on that game was a guaranteed money earner. It was always a game he'd set up not to lose. Keeps them far enough back. If they were shockingly bad, then that will explain his comments, which are a new low even for him. It's also the transfer window, how coincidental TP's team put a performance like this in, a little nudge for the chairman. Is that what Hughes did?

I see he hasn't lost the ability to go all defensive in trying to shout down the interviewer when questioned about his forwards and attacking subs.

I would doubt it but then Hughes has never had to apologise to any of the club's he managed fans for sending his teams out to play crap deliberately like the capped one did in the binary season. But did you know TP has never managed a team to be relegated, only 16 other premier league managers can claim this although none of them ever seem to talk about it.

I hope he stays there for years to come.
Almost worth our binary defeats...

At least we're not baggies fans (well some of us).

Naaah, it's a triffic result Nige. We're well on target to get 40pts again which is an incredible result for a club like ours. Villa have come here absolutely flying off the back of a good result against Wycombe. We knew avoiding defeat would be difficult and we've managed to keep a clean sheet, which the fans will be delighted with.

Because it's not actually that much of an achievement hence the fact 16 other premier league managers can say the same. Only one premier league manager who has completed a full season can claim that he has never managed a top half finish though, surprisingly he doesn't mention that.

Wish I had his record, the lack of respect he gets is a surprise tbh, I was never a lover but what he did for us, he shouldn't be getting the digs/shit he does.

Considering Pulis said this, I'm not surprised... Typical Poolis is that, thank heaven he's no longer at Stoke.

Fucking hell. Are we really gonna do this all over again. I drag myself out of my numbing depression that we well and truly stoked it today. Plucking a total hammering from the jaws of "we're gonna do these" and "I've got a good feeling about this". Literally drag myself onto this message board seeking a bit of solace. A chink of light. And I find this....more fcking crap about a bloke who has absolutely zero relevance to our club right now. Cheers lads, I'm now actually more depressed. And I was fcuking miserable. You thought you'd find solace on the Oatcake?? You're either naive,a dimwit or downright stupid :-D

Same but not quite as odd as you. Really, so you don't think it’s odd to post - Leicester 3 Stoke 0. What was the point of posting this on a thread about the fans of West Brom and Tony Pulis, what exactly has our game against Leicester got to do with WBA and TP?

That’s all well and good dave, however most discussions about our own shortcomings on Saturday are generally met with ‘knicker wetter’ accusations and advice to ‘fuck off down the Hawthorns’. That’s the Oatcake these days.

There's been plenty of discussion about our dreadful performance on Saturday that hasn't once mentioned The Hawthorns.
I laughed at Arsenal losing yesterday, was that wrong because we lost as well?
