We've seen Adam & Fuller get sent off for some stupid stuff but that one was simply a braindead tackle. Absolutely no point in it whatsoever !!

What's most disappointing about the tackle is the player who committed it. He himself was out for months after a dreadful tackle left him with severe ankle damage that nearly ended his career.
Not too long ago either.

Where have we seen that before?

That was amazing.
Luckily he didn't go in properly studs up so for me it lacked some real malice, but it was hilariously dumb. Thanks for the 3 points mate.

What about that Swansea sending off tonight? How the fuck is that a red card? They must have hired those officials for that match from 'rent a ref' Defoe was way offside for the first goal as well, a pity Gary Monk wasnt still there, his post match interview would have been quite amusing

Somethings not right when Cameron gets the same punishment for a little push on the head vs. a tackle like that. And Afellay for his 'tickle' into Craig Gardners face

Fair play to Norwich fans actually commenting on Gary O'Neil. Imagine if it was Arsenal, they'd be blaming everyone else but the player himself.
Anyway, was a stupid challenge and deserving of a red.

He must've had a few quid on being sent off before half time. Literally no other explanation. I was wondering why those Chinese gentlemen were crapping him off in the Norwich end....

Not as bad as Peter Story's sending off at the Victoria ground in the 70's For those who wasn't there. John Mahoney was lying injured near the touchline in front of the Butler street stand. The Arsenal manager sent Story on as substitute with just one instruction - go and kick Mahoney before he has chabce to get up.
If he meant to get himself sent off he won't be the first. Andy Gray didn't have the stomach for a relegation battle with the Wolves and set out to get two bookings for dissent. The ref realised what he was trying to do and tried his best not to give him the second booking Andy craved, but had to give in to him the end.

He must've had a few quid on being sent off before half time. Literally no other explanation. His bank accounts and those of his friends and family need to be monitored following that, including offshore bank accounts and trusts he may benefit from. No-one would do that without being provoked and there was nothing there, at all, in any shape or form. Simply w h a t t h e actual F***!!

I can only imagine that he'd tipped off his mates to put a few £ on him being sent off in the first half, how else would you explain such a dumb fuck challenge? If it was one of our players at their place and I'd done that horrendous journey to watch them I'd be fucking livid! Gouranga.

Cheap shot, you get a red for kicking a player and it is pretty much what it was. Although the ref was letting everything go up until that point, so perhaps they were trying to rough us up a bit. The player probably playing under orders but probably thought he would get no more than a yellow at the time.

If it was an Arsenal player that committed the offence the delusional-dumb-as-fuck Arsenal fans would have put together a 50,000 strong petition by now, demanding the 3 match ban be overturned & Afellay be banned for a month for overreacting to con the ref !!

One of my local BPL viewing mates here in the states is a Norwich fan. He couldn't agree more that it was a rash out of control tackle... It's his first red in 201 appearances for the canaries he said... His fans also really let him know how it hurt their chances to go 8 up from the bottom three clubs. Decent lot most of their fans I know or meet. Imagine if it was an Arsenal player doing that, they'd say it was a conspiracy or something.
