Bad luck Dave ((Shipshape) - I was home by 11.45! How are people managing that?... i was home after 10 and i live in alsager (5m) You left at half time?...call that support

260 miles, with detour to Uttoxeter most games. 1am the other day because of 40 minute delay getting off the Mich car park (or lake!)

Me and the middle daughter come up from Chippenham every home match, only 280 miles round trip, but the old man still lives in Longton so we get to stay over a few weekends. Got 2 tickets for the Bournemouth game, thats only about 60 ish miles away so happy days.

Approximately an 8 mile round trip from the quaint little hamlet that is named Knutton and back. But with pub time you are still out of the house for 12 hours

4,235 miles each way as a season ticket holder in the first two years in the Prem. Bought two in the family stand for me and my niece/god-daughter. Wanted to make sure I always had a ticket when I needed one and make sure she got the bug. Made about 6 games first year and 4 in the second and saw her regularly on the TV with her daft jester hat on

216 miles each way season ticket holder , try to split the journey whenever possible . Love it when the steamers tell me Your no Stoke fan respect all who travel to games short or long distance . Fair play to you Benji although I guess the distance is based on which care home they've put you in

I travel 350 miles each home trip - approx 40 times a season - and a bit more for away matches. Daren't cost it or would have to consider a visit to a psychiatrist.
Seriously, you decide on priorities and both of us choose sport as opposed to constantly dining out, going to London shows, drinking in excess (I'm teetotal) don't have more than one holiday a year, if that, and keep out of debt. That doesn't make it right, just right for us in our circumstances.
Good luck to all Stokie travellers! The club is worth it .

9,000 mile round trip from my home here in Kelowna, BC, Canada. Make every game, home and away. Last one I missed was the pre-season friendly against Telford United about 35 years ago. I don't have time to work with all the travel, and so I bought a controlling share in Air Canada to get free flights. Seems to work out OK.
Oops, is that the time?! Must get moving if I'm going to catch the kick-off at Donny.

Surreystokie is putting a shift in if its 40 home games a season, but she`s right, Stoke are worth it.
I do 296 miles return for each game as a ST holder but usually miss midweek fixtures in order to fund my excessive drinking. And if Arsenal start wining trophies I will be straight down the Emirates.

I moved to Portsmouth in 1981 when I joined the RN, except when I've been away at sea, travelled to majority of home games and a fair few away. ST holder since the 1970s with about 6 year break in early 80s due to sea time etc, but now travel all home games via Winchester to pick up my son, and as many away as possible. 440 mile round trip, home at 2.30 on Tue night! Worth every moment and penny. Could not ever support another team!

I met two Irish lads in Houston and Dallas who both make every home game from Belfast. That's pretty impressive in my book. Not sure if they are on this board?

Of course I meant 40 matches, not home games.
Jeez, some of you make my travelling seem like a decent jog. Always have respect for disabled fans whose efforts are immense, whatever the distance.
All of us find it worthwhile, not least because of meeting up with so many decent Stokies, as well as cheering on the lads.

From Lichfield every home game plus meet up with my sister on the A38/A50 junction as she comes from Southwell. We are both OAPs and have followed the club for over 50 years. We were introduced to the 'religion' by our parents when Stanley Matthews returned - even gave up our ballroom dancing lessons to go to matches! Never miss..what joy and despair we have witnessed. Always worth the journey.
