So Bojan isn't creative? Ireland? Adam? Seriously? Cameron? Afellay? I know it could be better but ffs this is the best midfield I've seen us have since I can remember. Central midfield? Last season's was better!

When was the last time one of our midfield 3 scored a goal or gave an assist. Correct me if I'm wrong but wasn't it Stephen Ireland against Tottenham? Does this worry you? Is this a wind up? Has to be. Just in case Ibby scored in December

I think tonight weve been really exposed with the exception of Afellay. This is the sort of game where we really miss NZonzi. For me the position that needs improving more than anywhere.

Cobham agree desperately missed an Nzonzi tonight Shelvey for me would be bang too of a recruitment list .
This team is capable of great moments but it is totally incapable of Dominating a game and putting a defensive shield sitting deep to the sword it's no coincidence that the games we have won at home we have scored first and forced teams out only once have we come from behind at home to take even a point and even then Bournemouth Were still Playing openly .
Tonight's result is telling because Liverpool have done us twice this way in 5 months having been annihilated by last years team just a few weeks before. I'm convinced we lack power and strength pace and a finisher to damage these teams . Norwich and then Arseanal for me always were and will be the games which indicates how our season will pan out

The big problem still is that when we talk about replacing Zonz, nobody, and i do mean NOBODY, has come up with an actual Zonz replacement. They want someone who plays just like him but the problem is, how would you describe his style of play? Not a holding mid. Not an attacking mid. He was a bit of everything.

Shelvey for me would be a perfect Nzonzi replacement .

Afellay is total quality on the ball .. Is he best in a 4-2-3-1 or 4-3-3 ?? I don't know :-) 4-2-3-1
