Put me down for one, sounds amazing. They'll be in stock by the end of March. No XL or XXL, though. Actually, you can probably rule out XS, S and L as well. Good news for fit, slim and athletic mediums like myself then.

Did I mention that the LEDs probably won't work? That's fine. My gleaming white smile more than makes up for it. Also, due to a technical issue during the manufacturing process, Dave Kitson looks more like Kofi Nyamah.

So all the hysteria yesterday was for nothing? They look like good solid kits. Coincidently Chelsea have released their new kit today, costs £90 and more for name and numbers Jesus wept. That's a deposit on a bloody car for me. Who's name I wonder demands such a levy.

I've not purchased a stoke top for a good few years but that preview of the away top is a bit exciting. If it's as good as speak previews suggest I can see me parting with some cash I'm thinking along the same lines. The Le coq one is still good but about time to catch up.

From what we can see they look like bona fide Stoke City kits.

Double the money of the Warrior/NB deal per annum I think? Were there any figures released for that deal? Was all a bit cloak and dagger but sure I read £1.5m per annum somewhere? Might have been Swiss Ramble or a Forbes type site.....

Yes I agree, that huge plastic rectangle means I would never actually wear one, it makes you look like an idiot. By the look of the previews i think the home kit has got the red box the same as previous kits! I think we are always going to have that problem with bet365 not having a logo and just having the word! It will get lost in the stripes if it wasnt in a box Yes I am sure you are right the issue is down to the Bet365 logo simply being the word Bet365 and then trying to put that on some stripes. I'd love to wear my Stoke top for squash and circuit training and so on but I will never do that as long as it has a god-awful great big square of plastic gummed on the front!

Why didn't we have someone who understands commerce on this deal? Fucking idiots.

Considering the small amount (compared to other clubs) of shirts we sell then 3m per year seems a good deal
Every commercial deal will look small compared to the tv deal

The Macron shop in Newcastle has most kits up to 5XL - why would ours be any different? They have the Lazio shirt on their website from Small to 4XL

That seems like a great deal. Someone mentioned we sell roughly 20,000 shirts a season. These will be a mix of kids and adults etc However, even if we sold 20,000 adult shirts at £50 a pop that's only £1m a year in sales before costs

I've never understood why we didn't do that on later shirts. It is as if someone in the club bought a job lot of a million small sheets of rubber/plastic and the club won't consider a fully printed red background for the logo until those million sheets have been used up. If we ever do go back to the printed red box again - it needn't be a boring oblong, it could be a red elipse/oval with a white bet365 printed/embroidered on it.

If it can be done then it really should be done, it's just not okay to gum a great big piece of plastic on the front of what should be a shirt for doing sport in

I have never, and I mean never seen a Stoke shirt for sale outside Stoke City Football Club and that includes when we were with Addidas and other top providers. Hopefully, Macron (or more likely the club) will allow shirts to be sold elsewhere now, including stores worldwide so that our sales will vastly increase. I looked in stores in florida that Stock warrior (& New Balance) and not one Stoke Shirt..... But I could find many other club shirts!

Excellent point - I've never seen a Stoke shirt for sale anywhere outside of Stoke either. You could even buy a Notts County shirt in the Hanley JJB sports in the early 90s as well as Hearts and Tranmere!! It would be great to expand the 'brand' as I'm sure lots of people would buy a Stoke shirt and then decide to 'follow' us - global domination courtesy of Macron then :-D
