What's all the clamour for Under Armour all of a sudden? Their Spurs efforts have mainly been shitter than a freshly laid dog turd. I sometimes play in their kit (Under Armour - USA) and honestly it's excellently made.

Dunner werrit if it's Macron lads... I have us sorted ... Macron make some pretty smart casual/training gear too! (I'm actually a fan of New Balance though for the record!) All well and good but we're aren't going to get Bologna's home strip as our away strip

I've got a mate who's a spurs fan (I know I know) and his tops are really nice, nice colours too, there black and yellow away top last year was lovely and there 3rd kit this year is nice too.

The problem with Macron, is that their branding is to overt. They put that horrible logo all over the shoulders and they mess with the styling to make it stand out. Every kit they have done has been a complete dogs dinner.
Given that our kit was voted the best in the Premiership this year and our away kit came 10th, it is a shame that we have to move away from New Balance.

We may aswell go the whole hog & go for gola, matchwinner, lonsdale or slazenger. I would'nt buy any of the above & I won't ne buying Macron gear weather it's Stoke connected or not

When People wear their Stoke top do you think people think "he supports Stoke" or "he wears New Balance clothes"? Does it matter who produces our kit so long as A) it looks good B) it's well made C) Stoke have got the best deal that was on offer to them

All a matter of taste I suppose but I haven't liked any of Spurs' shirts lately.

As a guesstimate, Stoke would need to lose something in the region of 20,000 sales of Macron shirts for the new deal to lose money. Therefore, whilst I agree that a shirt should make a great replica for fans and fans thoughts and tastes matter, as far as Stoke's business manager is concerned, Macron is a better deal than NB regardless.

It doesn't matter even if it's a beautiful, award winning new kit, you won't be supporting your club by wearing it because you've painted yourself into a corner. I remember the fashion monkeys getting all excited when we went with Adidas and they gave us several wank designs!

I'll be the first to say I won't buy a current shirt unless it's smart, there are though a few brands I would'nt buy wether it looked nice or not. Them palace shorts, picture them in white with the red stripe down the middle and red edge rims around the shorts

Insinuating that he won't be supporting the club by not buying the shirt by virtue of it being a Sports Direct bargain bin brand is reaching the same level of not arguments of 'you're not a supporter if you go on 80 minutes' or if you don't go to every match possible.
It's got nothing to do with Street cred. It's the fact that all the kits that most people have seen are perceived by the individual as complete abortions.

No what he is saying is that regardless of its the best/nicest kit we have ever had, he won't buy it because it is Macron! Writing it off before we even know whether we will be with them or not! Exactly the same principle as writing a player off and calling him shit before we have even signed him / it's been confirmed that we are interested!

Sorry mate I don't agree, not every supporter buys a shirt but they go to games. Lots of supporters buy all the clobber & don't go the games. Neither of course neans you are less of a supporter imo. Shirts/clothing is a personal choice

The bit I question is refusing to buy one based solely on the manufacturer of said top,

The bit I question is refusing to buy one based solely on the manufacturer of said top, just been watching Alan Pardew on SSN, imo that hideous macron top he is wearing would'nt look out of place in a circus. There is no excuse for a multi million/billion pound industry to be sporting such attire. For me it would be great for us to break the trend & go for a simplistic smart/casual fred perry type design. It's the future

Like or not Macron as a brand stinks. By wearing it the stoke city brand is diminished. Wake up stoke, it's not 1964. Get a marketing department that understands how the modern world works.

linkOn their site you can design your own kit from all sorts of templates from all kinds of sports , you don't have to be a wizard to do it . For anyone that thinks they could come up with something smart , have a go. might be nice for the club to get involved and maybe even run a competition alongside macro.
