I like both tbh. Think I'll get them. Fucking hell you've changed yer tune. Wiped the tears away enough to get a proper look have we? You ever considered stand up mate? You're really funny. Got anymore comedy gold?

It will certainly be interesting to see Southampton's kit for next, considering that they may be competing in the Europa League. The ruling for striped shirts only seems to extend for teams with white in the stripes. Teams like Atletico Madrid, PSV, Olympiacos and Porto have panels on the back, but Inter, AC Milan and Barcelona don't seem to have any restrictions. I would assume its because of the colours of the stripes. For example, white and red means having blue or black numbers/names which is still fairly hard to read....especially from a distance, where as with their shirts are darker colours meaning that white or yellow numbers stand out more...that's what I'm guessing anyways. That's absolutely correct.

Hate the panel so it's a big no from me - I'm out

I think they look good and I don't mind the panel. I would if I bought replica shirts as it would then force me into having a name and number on the back.
The abundance of white i'm in favour of but it does render our 1 song even more inaccurate than it was previously.

The away kit isn't bad, but is ruined by them plastering their shit logo on the shoulders. As for the home kit, it's fairly difficult to fuck up a striped kit (unless you're Adidas). Whether the panel is due to regulation or not, it looks wank. So many of our fans scoffed with Newcastle had that white panel to break up their shirt.
Knock the price of the shirt down so it'd cost the same with having a name and number on as a normal shirt would now and they'd gain a lot more respect.

There used to be a sports shop in Carnaby Street which stocked the shirts of all 92 league clubs I think - or at least most of them. I'm going back at least 20 years though ... I work 2 minutes from there. There is still a shop there (can't remember the name). No Stoke there. I remember someone posting about this and its to do with a commercial agreement from Stoke that prohibits anyone else selling the shirts in the UK I think...which is annoying; I'd much rather go to the shop and buy one so I can see the quality before I purchase. Soccer Scene on Carnaby St.

Not a name though in case the incumbent buggers off half way through the season, and definitely not my own. That would be silly.

I love them both...... I had a heart attack when I saw Shaq wearing the home shirt until i realised he had his collar up. This boy, ahem i mean man will be buying both....
And the jackets the lads are wearing look fantastic. I was looking at Roma's fashion wear and a similar style jacket..... We have our own so I'll get one too.

What is that enormous white square on the back of the home shirt made out of?

Home shirt - lovely front, great collar detail, very European, back (even though I realise the reason) spoils it. Could they not make two versions, one with full stripes for those of us over the age of 10 who do not want a player's name on the back?
Away - superb, topped off with the white badge and Ramblers "S", going back to the away colours of my childhood, but with a classy upgrade. An order will be placed ASAP.

What is that enormous white square on the back of the home shirt made out of? They just cut up some old SCFC shirts owned by Big Neville Southall, John Clark and Paul Stewart. They've got enough material to see them through to 2021...

Like the new kit looks really smart with the detail. Red name and number on the back is very different my son going love it.

Love the sky blue, although I'd prefer the shorts to be white, I think the colour's a bit much as a full kit.
I wish we could just adopt this as our standard away kit colour. Feels weird appearing in completely different colours every year.

The panel only applies to those with white stripes like ours not red stripes.

Feels weird appearing in completely different colours every year. I daresay there is more chance of a complete contrast with the home teams kit if we keep the shorts & socks blue too. Lots of teams have white shorts & socks and we would end up having to do an embarassing 'mix & match' as in seasons gone by.

I like the change in away kits. Keeps it fresh.
If it was always the same people would be less likely to buy both each season.

Looks as if Butland off then as Haggaurds in the clip Butland has a fractured ankle, the players in the video are quite active so i dont think it would be wise to use Butland, plus hasnt he still got his ankle support shoe on?

I think they're great, which is a relief as no doubt I'll have to fork out for my nippers. My only gripe is that I wish the away kit design was the same as the home just in different colours, not a fan of button down footy shirts.

They should've asked before designing the away top. I only bought the Ricoh one last month!!
