He is a young English striker destined only to get better, who has already shown he can score at the highest level. Yes bloody please!!!!
You just know Pulis will try to get Crouch, Walters or Wilson as a part-ex, the favourite being Jon boy of course.

Is he that good? I know he's young but he seems to veer between dangerous and invisible. I've never understood why he's valued so highly. Attitude issues as well. Not sure. How good? Do you mean is he worth £25 to £30m - probably not but he's English and relatively young so automatically inflates the value. I do think however, money aside, he would be a good fit for our team an the way we play at the moment. He's a very good finisher. He's skilful. He's quick. Is he that good a finisher? He got 20 in all competitions last season. He's never got close to that before then though. He's an exciting player when he wants to be but I don't get the fuss.

time for the Bet365 transfer dong to be unleashed. Too right. Let's see that massive dong being swung around with wild abandon.

Not sure it quite passes the sniff test - all seems a bit bizarre.
And got to wonder why it's been leaked to John Percy and Stuart James tonight? Always a bit suspicious when stories are spoon-fed to them like this and start asking why?
I was bamboozled that Spurs were willing to go that high in the summer, and can't help but feel he'd be one who'd definitely think he was doing us a favour by deigning to treat us as an 18-month stepping stone in the unlikely event that we agreed a whopping fee.
There's got to be better value in the £15m+ striker category abroad, hasn't there?

For the fee involved for Berahino I'd rather us take a punt on Adebayor tbh.

£10M + Crouch and/or Sergeant Wilson.
Pulis would cream his pants over that offer.

Congratulations, that is the most ridiculous post I've seen all day What's up bud ? I'm sorry but you really think we'd be willing to swap one of our in form players plus £5m for a risky player and to a team close to us in the league? Also, Arnie is stalling on a new contract here so why on earth would he go to Anti-Football FC

He was 21 last season. 20 goals by a 21 year old is bloody impressive! True- but 4 or 5 penalties and 4 against Gateshead in the cup. Still, in a Pulis team, it's admittedly an impressive haul, especially for a kiddie. He was never one that made me go 'wow' though, but maybe I caught him on the wrong days! Must be better value available elsewhere if we're really shopping in the megabucks category though? (although a presumably sophisticated scouting operation like Spurs' seemed to conclude he was the man last summer)

Of course I think he'd be a fantastic signing but Marko is our biggest stacking threat right now so to suggest trading him is daft imo.

He would be the best forward player at the club so why wouldn't we need him? He's a top class player if MH can get his head right he'd make a huge impression. I'd prefer Diouf, to be honest.

Weren't all the same doubts about ability, character, discipline and attitude levelled at another former WBA striker when Stoke showed an interest in him?

Barely playing him all season and slagging him off on Sky dramatically reduces his value £15m is being mentioned way to go TP. Stick Diouf into the deal and it could be sub 10mil.

Another soulless terd who does not know the meaning of team. We need some characters in this window, players with talent for sure, but not another self obsessed youth who turns up for 1 game in 3. We have a team that showed no passion at all in a semi-final and that needs redressing

Nothings free, he priced himself out of a move to west ham wanting over £100,000 a week, he's shit too which doesn't help. Any talent he did have went when he left Arsenal. Wrong side of 30 and offers us nothing that we don't have. Berahino is a risk but with huge rewards, Adebayor is a risk with nothing to win. Compare that to someone who's young talented and there's profit to be made. No brainer.

He shows some good composure and the knack for being in the right place.

He has talent, no doubting it. BUT, £15million is way over his value - especially considering he sits on the bench for WBA and is overweight
