I think Pep's holding out for Man U. Simeone looks a good fit for Chelsea in that he's a snarling, ugly, horrible bastard. my thoughts exactly about pep, he must think gaal is going get sacked soon and there is no way somebody like him will go anywhere like chelskea in their position I'd love to see someone at United he wouldn't cope with the stress and his anger issues will come clear (see Madrid cps league final)

Non story. Both man united and Chelsea will only go for high profile managers. Not MH fortunately.

According to Oddschecker there are 32 managers more likely to get the job than Mark Hughes and at least half of those 'managers' in front of him are either not yet managers at all (John Terry) or haven't been for years (Glen Hoddle) so I don't think we need worry.
Hughes is on 66:1 which incidentally are the same odds you can get for David Beckham getting the job!

Would Chelsea consider him? He might be on their radar with a few other outsiders Former Chelsea player who has a pedigree and experience in Europe. Impressive in his time with us It wouldn't surprise me in the least if his name crops up. What, Chelsea would look to a mid-table manager (which, after all that's what Hughes is at the moment) to steer them back to the Champions League and winning the Premier League? He's doing excellently for us. Absolutely brilliantly. But let's not kid ourselves that a Champions League wannabe would entertain employing him for a minute.

'Big clubs' need a 'big name' manager more than they need a good one. You've only got to look at Rafa Benitez popping up everywhere because a Stevie Gerrard dive won them the Champion's League 10 years ago.
They can't get rid of one of the most famous managers in the world and replace him with the bloke who did so badly at QPR. Which is fantastic news for us.
You never know, they may think sod the fans and get in somebody who isn't a big name or a club legend who they think will be a good fit but I doubt it as they are competing for all the glory hunter's shirt sales next summer.

My mate whose dads firm fitted the windows on the Chelsea groundsmans house has heard that Chelsea are lining up Mark Hughes to take over in the summer, and he's already assured Chelsea that he'll be bringing Butland, Shawcross, Bojan, Shaqiri & Arnie with him... For £20 million. He can get 'em that cheap 'cos he had it written into their contracts that he could take 'em to a bigger club with him, and it's also why Arnie wont sign a new deal. You are kidding ???? How much were the windows !!

We can, for once, be thankful for the arrogance and stupidity of the "top" clubs.
Hughes is more than capable of being a successful manager at Chelsea or Man U, but they won't look in his direction - unless he does something remarkable like have Stoke win a couple of trophies and secure a top 4 finish or two. And even then their jaundiced eyes will be more concerned with what he hasn't done.
I'm more than happy to let them keep dipping into the putrid pot that contains the likes of Mourinho, Benitez etc.

Will never happen.
Abramovich will bring in Hiddink as interim and look to the summer for one Simeone or Guardiola.

Could be the rot that never gets better if they don't fix it soon. Chelsea relegated would be ever so lovely. I hope they keep hiddink until that time comes.
