For me no change of players {if fit}or formation I am 56 and I have to say that first half was one of the best stoke performance I have seen, the second half was not bad either No change. Â I have you by 4 years, IMO the best display I've seen since we thrashed Arsenal 5-0 in the year they won the double. Â Can't wait for Saturday! (and February!) I'll raise you another four years and it's certainly in the top three or four performances I've seen in over 50 years. I can't see how Sparky could take any of those players to one side and say "sorry son but you're dropped". Defo same side, same tactics hopefully same result

I can't see any reason to change a wining team.
Positive thoughts: Affalay is showing his class now and can only get better the more he plays Cameron will get better the more he plays in the advanced position and will be more help to Whelan defending than Adam or MvG Surely Shaq is going to score? Bojan is due a goal and surely we are due a goal someone else? (Cameron, Johnson)?
Negative thoughts: We are not going to keep getting clean sheets all season and are due to concede. Carroll is due a goal Lot of WHU players will be trying to show what they can do while others out due to injury.
Conclusion: We will need to score at least twice. We can win, but must be clinical in taking our chances or we will be lucky to get a point.
Question: Last week the players were on the world stage playing the former Champions in the early KO, therefore full of adrenaline, got the buzz, fired up etc. Will they now drop down a gear for a run of the mill game?

Loving us aren't they haha (neanderthals) The worry is, though, is that Stoke's tactics appear to have changed...Sure their supporters are still neanderthals, but the highlights of their defeat of Man City were remarkable.

One of the real positives at the moment is the strength of our bench,no one there to make up the numbers at the moment.

I've not been in a great pub near the ground, but would be happily corrected. Loads of pubs in the surrounding area round L'pool St Stn, then get the tube/overground to the ground

Went in the Millers Well last season and it was fine - safe as houses albeit not many Stokies in there at all
It is a fair walk to the ground after but I reckon it's probably the best bet other than the Liverpool Street suggestion
Would be nice to coordinate though as always enjoy a sing song before kick off

Cheers Stafford I'd seen that.. There seems to be plenty of forums and sites telling you where not to drink... Was hoping there might be a few suggestions from previous visits.. If there's anywhere people tend to head too..

Been in both the Queens & The Boleyn, both fine if you don't give it the big I am, the only trouble with The Boleyn was it was damn near impossible to get served. Don't think I've ever been a boozer that rammed before!!

I just hope we're on our game. It'd be typical of us to lose Saturday then beat Man U. Saturday's a real test of how well equipped we are to push for top 6. We have to be consistent to push on.

I'll tell you what, if we can't beat them when they're so decimated by injuries, and we've just hit the form of our lives, then we really should stop all this talk of Top 6 and Europe. Really key game to nail some consistency, it's all there for us. Come on Stoke, time to step up to the mark, and not just 'showboat' in the big games Let's have that same fire and intensity from last Saturday

Hughes should really do the right thing here to even it up a bit by giving the weekend off to Shawcross, Afellay, Bojan, Shaqiri and Arnautovic.
