Think LMH will make 2 changes. Diouf for Walters and Afellay for Arni. Arni has been poor last 2 games, he is such a frustrating player and needs some competition for his place as this will do him good. Really??? Against Sheffield?? Sunderland yes, but on Tuesday definitely not.

Butland Johnson Shawcross Wollschied Pieters Whelan Cameron Shaqiri Bojan Arnie Diouf
Hit em in midfield, get on the counter. Yaya Toure, Fernandinho vs Glenn and Geoff... Could be League Cup preview type stuff.
Subs:
Adam Afellay Walters

Twatkinson is ref at the weekend - a man down before we start then!
As for the team, I think we need Geoff's physicality against Yaya in the middle of the park, and we surely need Diouf's pace up top. Afellay is close to warranting a starting spot, but I am not sure who leave out. However, if any of the attacking midfield trio don't perform, he should be brought off the bench as a replacement by 60 mins at the latest.
Butland
Johnson Shawcross Wollscheid Pieters
Whelan Cameron
Shaqiri Bojan Arnautovic
Diouf
Subs:
Haugaard, Wilson, Van Ginkel, Adam, Walters, Joselu - other sub, who is fit out of Muniesa, Ireland, Odemwingie and Crouch?

Butland Johnson Shawcross Wollscheid Pieters Whelan Cameron Shaqiri Affelay Arnautovic Diouf This. If it isn't working or we get behind bring on Bojan for one of the 5 midfielders and go 4-4-2 or 3-5-2 with Bojan up front wth Diouf. Could be interesting.

Butland Johnson Shawcross Wollschied Pieters Whelan Cameron Shaqiri Bojan Arnie Diouf That would be my team too for Saturday. Bring Afellay or Joselu in the offensive, if it doesn´t work.

Got a good feeling that Bojan will have a great game if he starts, hopefully outshine David Silva.

Butland Johnson Shawcross Wolly Pieters Whelan Cameron Shaqiri Bojan Arnie Diouf..
Afellay and Van Ginkel played very well the other night but let's be honest, Sheffield Wednesday didn't half give them enough space to do so, Man City certainly won't tomorrow. This is also a game SJW usually plays well in but I think it's time for Diouf to be given a go from the start. Cameron for Adam is a no brainer for me, especially in a game where we'll have the likes of Silva and Aguero in and around the box.

Let's see if it's as agenda driven towards us and a certain player as it was the last time we were covered at QPR last season
It was appalling and embarrassing

But surely that focus just underlines how well he is doing now by comparison...?

It will be all about Man City, have no fear.
Then I will bet money that Liverpool get some coverage despite not being involved or having anything to do with the fixture.

It will be about City first and foremost, Liverpool who will be playing one of the lesser teams in the Capital Cup Semi final so they can play in the Final and qualify for Europe. Oh, as an afterthought it is being played at Stoke the long throw and long ball specialists. Fortunately after the game they will spend a lot of time explaining what went wrong with City, including a long list of injuries, that caused them to lose to a team like Stoke. Frankly I don't give a damn! 3 points please.

Sergio Aguero, Vincent Kompany, Yaya Toure, Samir Nasri & Pablo Zabaleta all confirmed to be out !!
I fancy our chances a lot more without them on the pitch, especially the first 3.
