Lethal striker, but unfortunately made of glass! Because of this he will never fulfill his potential I'm afraid! A pity for England by the way!

I hope he stays injured all season because if he comes back for the Euro's, saggy face will only try and hammer the front four around him again and we'll end up like we were in Brazil.

I can see his worries. It's a huge psychological battle to overcome injury, and with each bit of pain he'll feel like he's damaged himself again.
Once he sorts the mental battle out it'll be a lot better for him.

Shame for the lad. Extremely talented but injury prone.

I actually think if he doesn't sort it out in the next year or two hell do a dean Ashton and retire. The guy simply can't get fit which is a shame as he's lethal.
Wonder if all the time on the bench early in his career had any effect.

Mouse, the original sicknote. As said, its in his head. Klopp has him sussed where Brenton rubbed his ego.

It's a shame really, because he's clearly very talented.
I saw this earlier and, shame on me, I couldn't help but burst out laughing; "Daniel Sturridge is a professional hospital patient whose career has been blighted by football"

Lots of aspects of being a footballer can be envied. Injuries are the balance. One of the very saddest parts of the game.

I think he is both genuinely injured a lot and the sort who doesn't like to play unless he's 100%. Not a great combination. I think it's true that he's been unavailable for more matches than he's been available in his Liverpool career so far.

Makes it sound as though he is swinging the lead, I don't think Stufrridge will be too pleased with that remark. Contrast that with Shawx, Whelan and Walters etc.
