It's hard to say what's more important right now. Charlie is doing an excellent job for us BUT N'Zonzi was better and you'd think a similar player would improve us right now. Diouf and Jon do a very good job up front BUT think what we'd be like with a truly natural finisher to tuck away the chances we keep creating. Those two are the key positions really and adding to the squad in one or both of those positions could see us aiming for the stars. The chances we created on Saturday fell to players who really should've done better though. Not everything is going to fall to a centre forward. Did SJW have a chance on Saturday? A striker isn't going to be a magic cure IMO. Like you said if Arnie. Shaq etc step up to the plate goals will come.

This absolutely. Arnie could and probably should have had two, Shaq should have had one, on another day Afellay gets two. All the pieces are there except the goals. However, you get the feeling we could seriously smash someone one day. Maybe this weekend? Southampton very nearly got absolutely whupped in their own backyard. Another team won't be as lucky as to lose 1:0 to us before long. Southampton fans have been fairly gracious in defeat though, Sunderland won't be. How nice would it be to fucking batter those muppets in their own backyard?

Slumberland will try and drag us down to their level, but hopefully our football can do the talking and we can take our chances.
Someone's due to take a real hiding soon and I'd love to put our poor record up there to bed. Such a poor away record against such mediocre opposition.
