Whilst it's great that we seem to be turning our season around, we have not been able to kill games off when in the lead. TBH we have suffered from this since promotion with a few exceptions. Not saying we should be winning all games by 2 or 3 goals but when we dominate a game such as Saturday it would be nice to show a score line that reflects this.

So long as we keep scoring one more than the opposition every week, we'll be doing fine. That said, I feel sure we're going to give someone a real hammering anytime soon.

On the flipside only Man Utd, Arsenal & Tottenham have conceeded less than us. Not bad considering Cameron, Johnson, Wilson & Wollscheid are the worst defenders in the History of the Premier League.

It's points got, not how many goals we have scored, I would be worried, if we only had 8/9 points and letting in a load of goals. Come the end of the season, I think we will finish with a plus goals difference.

The OP is correct. While we are winning 1-0 it may not seem to matter, but Southampton were always in that game and would have been favourites to go on and win had they equalised. We need to be more ruthless and finish teams off when we are on top. When was the last game we had where you felt 100% confident of a victory with 10 mins to go?
Saying that, we are definitely creating more chances than earlier in the season and our quality trio up front (Arnie, Bojan & Shaq) are looking better with every game - I am sure that goals will come. We just need the final piece in the jigsaw - a top striker up front - but they are as rare as turkeys in January.

We could win every game 1-0 and I'd be happy, do you think Leicester fans care that they've conceded a shit ton of goals this season?

I am not really sure why people are saying we are not killing these games off when we are walking away with 3 points.... Anyone who has played the game knows protecting a 2-0 score line is just the worst! Complacency always sets in and I would always be much more scared of surrendering a 2-0 lead instead of a 1-0 lead. In an ideal world we would sit back for a while after scoring the first and then get two quick goals around the 65 minute mark

To be honest, I went to Swansea and Southampton and I honestly was so confident we wouldn't concede if we played for another 90 minutes. Can't fault our away form at the minute it's amazing, I said on Saturday to my dad within about a minute of play that we would win, they just looked so up for it. Big test for Hughes' skills as a manager if he can eradicate complacency at home against teams we are expected to beat. It was a problem towards the end of the Pulis era but I personally think Hughes is a much better manager, though if he can cut this complacency out he will prove himself as a real top class manager on another level than he is right now.

Let's be positive, glass half full posters!
We are in 11th place (or XI place), we are 11th best goal difference.
If Sunderland thrash CP tonight we will move up 1 place into the the top half of the table in both position and GD.
We are threatening a Liverpool type victory with the chances we are creating, and a couple of good wins we will be in the top half of the table for goals scored.
We're on our way to Wembley!

We certainly need a lot of chances to score goals! We could easily have had 5 against Southampton, but the one we got luckily was enough! We need to kill games off more often and not ride our luck, even though we are bloody good at protecting a lead right now!

I'm not sure it's complacency mate. I think it's simply the way we set up ie to counter attack, suits away games and home games against the better teams who come at us. The teams who sit in to 'park the bus' to borrow a phrase, neutralise our most potent threat. We need a plan B against these teams at home. Don't know what that might be but I'm sure we'll find a solution.
