just looked at their fixtures, played 13 so far but only played 2 of the recognised top 7 - drew at home to spurs and tonked at home to arsenal. 5 of there next 6 games are against established top table teams - if they get 8 or more points from their next 6 games they will be there to stay. I honestly think they will be on 40 points by the New Year, which would be amazing by any standard for them. Only problem I have with them is Linekar's smug face on Motd. I don't dislike him, but his smugness wears thin when I have to watch it all the way through as we're on last haha.

Like mentioned earlier - his role different last season and the ones before that (and still, have a look at his stats). I'd take him over Kane every day and even though it would be a tough call - I'd probably take him over Welbeck as well, at least how things look at the moment. There's no way that Jamie Vardy goes to the Euros over Kane if Kane is fit, not a cat in hells chance. Welbeck has been excellent for Woy for England too, he deserves to go. If Sturridge struggles that might be his chance. The point is Welbeck doesn't deserve to go, no player should deserve to go based of the past or the fact that they're the "better player". Players at clubs like Leicester or Stoke may as well give up if they can't get into the England squad ahead of someone who has been injured all season, even when he has equalled an incredible scoring record and is still able to beat it yet. Why bother if that's the case?

Looking deeper at the issue, Woys policy of overlooking players at certain clubs may prove costly as they may choose to opt to play for one of the other home nations should they be eligible and believe they will be snubbed like Shawcross.

They are in for a rough 2nd half of the season. They will be taken more seriously and become a target for everyone who has given them points up to now. Plus injuries and suspensions etc... Wouldn't mind if they prove me wrong but I think we can overtake them too.

Why bother if that's the case? Yes he does. He's played a massive part in us qualifying and Woy knows he can trust him, that means a lot. You take your best if they're available and in good shape. Vardy stands a good chance of going because not all 7 of the players I've said will be fit but if they are I think he will be rightly left out.

If they're still top at New Year, I'll be very impressed given their fixtures for the rest of 2015: Man Utd (H) Swansea City (a) Chelsea (H) Everton (a) Liverpool (a) Man City (H) Let's see what happens... Well they're doing pretty well. In 2nd and 11 points from those 6 matches. W3 D2 L1 F8 A4 Pts11 We're 10 points behind them - can we catch them?

Got a ticket for Leicester away for Xmas. I'm glad they're doing well. They're a breath of fresh air and give other clubs such as ours belief that the monopoly can be broken. It could even be a top of the table clash in a few weeks time

I've watched the game and they've got as much chance as anyone in winning the league, its that unpredictable week in week out.
Other than their front three they're pretty crap and it was like kick and rush at times.

It's refreshing and good luck to them but every time I see them play I wonder how the fuck they are up there ,
I stand by my prediction that they will come unstuck , it's sounds disengenous but if you discect their results they have undoubtably had the rub of the green in refereeing decisions and tonight was no different, if it evens up over the second half of the season they will be in for a rough ride !

Enjoy mate! And you. I'd rather be in the away end but hey freebies can't be ignored Cheers pal. I went Leicester away last year. Great away day. We won 1-0 courtesy of a Bojan goal. Late injury to Shawcross saw Wollscheid step into the side. He was outstanding.

Yeah and me. Good away day and great result. Did you get caught up in all the shit in Derby afterwards? No mate. I was travelling on the Knype Vics coaches. No nor me bussed it too. Anyway if we score watch for someone going mental in the posh seats with two lads trying to control him. That be me By the way I don't mind Leicester. My bessie mate is a massive Foxes fan so I've got a bit of a soft spot unless we're playing them then it's war. Plus like others have said it gives all middling teams like us hope. It could be us.

It was me mate and yeah, I still do it. How's it looking Dave? Its looking brilliant so I'm trying not to get too excited. I don't compare points totals after certain number of games but rather fixtures on a like for like basis. I replace relegated teams with promoted teams first by geography and if that doesn't work, by whatever tenuous link possible. On that basis, the Watford fixtures replace those of QPR, Norwich replace Hull (both east of country) and Bournemouth replace Burnley (both been managed by eddie Howe). After a disastrous start that saw us a massive 8 points behind last seasons tally after only 4 games, we are now flying. From the same group of fixtures we are 7 points better off than last season and are +4 better off on goal difference at 0 v -4 last season. We've scored 4 fewer goals than last season (pretty much down to the change in fortune v Liverpool) but conceded 8 fewer. All in all we are looking pretty damn good and well set for another record breaking season. I know, I know...I'm a sad bastard with too much time on my hands :-)
