I live in Fareham about 15 miles from southampton - this is like a home game for me!!! Im from Southampton and have the luxury of walking to the game!. Theres a few parking areas around the ground but I think they cost roughly £10 a space.

I was considering parking at Southampton Parkway, and getting train to Central from there. Should make it easier to get back on to M27 after the game I believe?

Regular Trains only a couple of minutes from there to southampton central - not sure what it's like parking there on a match day but flown from there a few times and parking always been good. NB. I'd check prices in advance my hubby just said it can be v expensive for the short stay?!

Be happy with a point from this, 3 and I'd be a very happy lady - but we're overdue a creative/attacking breakthrough, if everything does finally come together we could win this.
Really nice club Soton, really good day out the one time I've been.

Really nice club Soton, really good day out the one time I've been. I live down South, only a half hour train ride for me. Must be honest, if it wasnt so close I wouldnt do Southampton games. I find the whole experience pretty stale and listening to "oh when the saints" for 90 minutes does my head in!!

(Yates Wine Lodge in the central shopping area. There were also a lot of away fans in the Slug & Lettuce next door'. ) so is this where most stoke fans will be drinking ? and how far a walk is this from the railway station ?

No reason to make big changes. Only question for me is center forward. Diouf should be closer to 100% but Walters must be on a high. I'd not play them both because neither are better than Shaquri out wide. I'd start Diouf and bring on Walters for Bojan, move Shaquri to the middle and rotate Diouf and Walters up front. Sounds good in theory till someone gets injured or plays crap.
Butland Johnson Shawcross Wollscheidt Pieters Adam Whelan Shaquri Bojan Arnie Diouf
Looks owrate

Without any disrespect to the rest of our team and squad, I look at that threesome behind Walters and smile. Particularly when I think back to the fairly recent past when we were scrambling around to even get into the Championship, never mind the Premiership. We may moan and gnash our teeth when we lose or when things don't quite go right, but isn't it great to be where we believe we belong watching the talented group our manager (and the one before him) has put together? Don't worry be happy

I'd play Diouf in away matches when we are looking to hit the home side on the break, and Walters in home matches when we need guile an experience to crack massed defences. This could be Bojan and Shaqiri's break-through match. Of course it could be that Diouf and Walters are so knackered after their international week-ends with all the travelling in Diouf's case, and euphoria in Walter's case, that MH may chose to rest them.

I'd play Diouf instead of super john Me too. Bring Walters on when/if Bojan's knackered and move Shaq to the middle. Sentinel suggests concerns over Cameron and Diouf because of long journeys after their latest games. Sounds like Walters will start. Bojan should be fresh and raring to go after his mini break which was probably good for him as he looked a bit jaded, Arnie and Shaq both got game time in their internationals but should be ok.. Draw would be moer than ok, win would make people sit up and notice us (although not as much as Soton themselves, West Ham, etc etc)

1-2 to Stoke
Won't be the surprise of the weekend to the rest of the PL, but could be a massive result for us. Hard-fought though if it's the case.
