Name 1 other player who repeatedly gets caught treading on people and if you can't then he must do it deliberately, in which cast he's a fucking knob Costa. But he's still a knob. Can't condone it in any way.

Didn't make the MOTD highlights, perhaps that is a good sign, we need all the playing resources we have with the upcoming Fixture list and the 2 Cup competitions.

No doubt about it he trod on him but I didn't think it was deliberate.

He is a dirty player, he has previous and he "probably" knew what he was doing. That's why opposition fans hate the bloke. Must say he's a nice guy off the pitch though!

Watch the replays. There is nothing in it at all.
Honestly, apparently feet magically disappear in the sanitized version of football.
Absolute bollox from the media based on reputation. It was a nothing incident.

Regardless of whether it was intentional or not, nothing has been made of it and no one cares. Lets just move on to the next game.

He's got previous for it.

I honestly don't think Charlie's a dirty player. He's like a number of midfield players (like Scholes) he just can't tackle. Not sure this stamp was intentional but his reputation precedes him.

Charlie never treads on people by accident. Very dirty player. When a "Stoke Fan" makes a comment like that. 1. I wonder if he would have the balls to say that to his face? 2. Is he a Stoke Fan? He's a dirty player and that's a fact. Stoke fan or not.

Nothing in it for me, he couldn't get out of the way and there was definitely no stamp movement.

He's a great player to have at the club, is a decent bloke off the field and does his bit for charity but how many times has this happened now? We all have the debate about intentionality and the fact that he has to put his feet somewhere whilst running at speed. The fact is these lads are incredibly skilled with their feet. He can drop a ball on a six pence from half a pitch away yet suddenly gets all clumsy when's mother bloke's head is on the grass infront of him.Lightening continues to strike and it's unnecessary. He's old enough now to understand how these snide actions can impact himself and the team.

Getting judged by his past, isn't he? This incident didn't look like a stamp to me.

Even MOTD didn't highlight it. Charlie is hated by Spurs fans and because of that, southern journos , they will do anything to get him into trouble.

Best then to have him in the red and white stripes. The more media, journos etc slag him off, the more our backs against the wall, us against them, makes us stronger if everyone hates us ????

Not a great cameo again, stood ball watching for their winner when it was sort of cleared out, he was also ball watching earlier as well when they broke down the right.

Van Ginkel is improving, Cameron is proving to be strong in CM, Afellay growing by the game.
Adam needs to sort himself out.

Thought he did all right when he came on. Difficult came to get into it. Bang on. He did well when he came on. And anyone who as ever played the game would surely know some games are hard get into He stood still and watched while a ball came down and bounced in our area, a Palace player attacked the ball. A few seconds later the ball dropped out to Lee while Charlie stood and watched again - 1-2. I like Adam, but today was not his finest hour. A common theme today was Stoke not clearing the ball when they should have done, so he wasn't the only one

Charlie was the reason we won the penalty as well. Van Ginkel would've never fought for that header. Yes he's in fault for their winner but give him credit where its due FFFS.

Not a great cameo again, stood ball watching for their winner when it was sort of cleared out, he was also ball watching earlier as well when they broke down the right. That is an understatement. The player that got the first shot in during the lead up to their second was being marked by Charlie. There was a 50/50 header to go and win. He seemed to step aside to allow a free shot, which you simply can't do and get away with at this level.

Adam slating as per usual. Did way more than van ginkel when he came on.
I think people just blame him because he's fat and sticks out on the pitch more whereas van ginkel is like a ghost on the pitch

I like Charlie but he's not playing in a role suited to him. His game is based on attack and pushing for a goal. Which he's very good at. Unfortunately that comes at a cost with his defensive play and reckless tackling.

Adam was miles better than MVG See I just don't see where you're coming from. MVG wasn't spectacular but he was neat and tidy, played some clever passes, won more tackles than anyone and nearly scored. Adam played 3-4 passes to literally nobody and his ball watching contributed to their winner.
