I think you do Shaq a disservice as this implies he can't cross a ball when he wants to... He didn't miss-hit it, look at which part of his foot he connects the ball with and you can clearly see this was an attempt on goal. I think he's taking the piss and talking about Joselu's goal.

Joselu is class. He just needs to take his chance. For the brilliance of Bojan, Shaqiri and Arnautovic they aren't great finishers. I think Joselu could be.

Should have started against the bunch of thugs that we knew WBA would be.

Should have started against the bunch of thugs that we knew WBA would be. I thought so and said so in the pre-match thread. He's lively coming from rest as was walters. I'd have even used Adam for Whelan and MVG for Cameron in midfield to save their legs. They look a bit tired.

Was on the receiving end of quite a nasty challenge from Fletcher early on (which we didn't' even get a free kick for) but it didn't seem to affect him, has a touch of class about him.

That was ridiculous, I couldn't believe there wasn't a card...then found out that he wasn't even giving a Free Kick.

3 assists for him now this season, all crosses. Get him on the wing! Glad he played 90 today, albeit in a disjointed attack.

Unorthodox if you like. He's quite mobile, big and good in the air yet is comfortable coming out wide and has a great touch. Very strange for that type of player. If we can beef him up and get some consistent goals output from him then in a few years time we'll have a 27 year old striker that can do the lot.

I'm not sure he'll ever offer us a regular supply of goals. He works far too hard, isn't selfish enough and as a result rarely finds himself in goalscoring positions. Clearly he's a very good player with a lot to offer. I hope he can add goals to his game. If he can, he'll be worth millions of pounds

If he can, he'll be worth millions of pounds I just wonder Dave, with Hughes being a quality striker in his day..and all that. A lot will come from the Lou Macari diet of running, fitness and strength. He already has the beating of most defenders technique wise. When he can go properly toe-to-toe with centre halves I think the game will massively change.

He did actually work quite well at Swansea with Bojan behind him. He would come deeper than a front striker to link up play, which would allow Bojan to make runs beyond him.

Get him out on loan, needs games. Should be able find his feet in The Championship. Trying to figure out if you're being serious or on the wind up? We're a few points off a European place in the league and still battling it out in two cup competitions. Why would we want to let a striker who is starting to find some form go out on loan to the Championship?

I only saw the 2nd half but he must have played like Messi in the 1st half the way some people are raving about him as he was dreadful in the 2nd half.
