I've just learned that Bondy, aka the godfather, aka plenty of other things to his friends or enemies, passed away yesterday. He would have been the first to admit he divided opinion to say the least but the Bondy I knew was a really decent, gentle, generous guy, a passionate Stokie and and one of our own. RIP Allan xxx

RIP al. It was bondy who got me started converting and publishing old stoke vids. He provided me with the materials, never actually met in person. Not that I know of although we knew some of the same folk from days gone by. Rest easy fella. SCFC

You forget so many posters but when a name is mentioned in these kind of circumstances they come back to mind instantly.
Rest in peace fellow potter.

What terrible news.
Bondy used to send me things and once gave my daughter £25 for Christmas.
He was such a different bloke in person than you would expect after reading some of his texts.
My condolences to his family.
Alan was one of our Fantastic Leek Stokies..some of the most Loyal Stokies you will ever find.
WE'LL BE WITH YOU ALAN EVERY STEP ALONG THE WAY
Bondy RIP
