For the first time this season I really can't think of one. It was the worst performance I've seen since Hughes arrived. Maybe that's a positive, a one off terrible performance and we now move onwards and upwards.

Maybe that's a positive, a one off terrible performance and we now move onwards and upwards. Possibly the worst home performance in the Premier League full stop. Sloppy from the off and left me scratching my head. Whelan and Pieters 6/10 the others 5 or less

As positives go , this has to be the most negative of positives the Oatcake has ever produced ....and I am unanimous .

The performance against Norwich a couple of seasons ago was worse. Does that count as a positive?
It was a shit performance from a mid-table team. It's annoying, but it happens. The frustrating part is that this always seems to happen against teams who on paper we look like giving a tonking to. I don't mind the famous Hughes slow start, but if there was one thing I wish he'd sort out, it's our inability to see off teams who set out to shut up shop against us.

That we were not playing a good team or god knows what the score could of been I'm not being knee jerky I know we have got good players and keep the ball well but ,,, I did say to my nephew on the way out you just feel we are close to getting a real good tonking !

One positive is the shit performance has given the Negative Normans more oxygen. They were suffocating after 4 straight wins.

Improved performance by Shaquiri. Thought there were some nice moves, but were totally negated by the final pass or playing the ball square when it should have gone into the box.

That we were not playing a good team or god knows what the score could of been I think if we had played a good team we'd have had a better chance of winning. I know that sounds perverse, (it's actually fcukin mind blowin) but it seems we're lower table fodder again this season. Dont get me wrong, admire what Watford came and did, smash and grab...get men behind the ball and graft, cant beat it when its your side. We've had our share of that so no complaints here. But frankly (and no offence watford fans) they will go down. Sadly, if we had played another 90 minutes we still wouldn't have scored, and personally i think thats a bigger problem than our defence. We still have new players bedding in and 2 key players missing today, and we came up against a tactic that is renowned, tried and tested, and very hard to combat unless you're at your strongest. Panicking every time things go pear shaped is nuts. If things go pear shaped every time fair enough, but they dont do they. So until then, dont slag off players who have only played half a dozen matches for us. Blips like this are very characteristic of a side in transition. If we start to make a habit of it, i'll be the first to wet me self, but until then gentlemen.....KTF.

I was just thinking about this. Putting it into context. I think it was the worst performance I have seen from us since we lost at home to villa under pulis.
The worst performance under Hughes easily. In the second half it was embarrassing and we actually should have lost 4-0.
Along with the norwich game, there are somereally concerning aspects of our play. We looked a bunch off absolute powder puffs in attack today. And pathetic in defence having looked ok the last two games.
Wish I knew what hughes is thinking

For a short period in the first half I thought we were playing pretty well. Dominating the possession, probing - Arnie looked up for it. Went to shit as soon as they scored though
