If the Sunderland faithful turn their noses up at Sam's likely appointment then they're just plain puddled.
How many more revolving-door failures do they want?

They'll welcome him with open arms you'd think?
Their best chance of stopping up by a distance and an ex player to boot.

The players Advacaat brought in were actually decent and should have improved the team.
Seem to be lacking the belief that they can win / see out games.

This is the guy that last week ruled himself out of any interest in the Sunderland job. It is amazing what a big wedge can do. I'll give it 18 months to two years absolute maximum before they're calling for his head but by then he'll have had the money and the contract and will retire to a life of luxury at their expense. Honestly, who cares what Sunderland do?

Said on the Bob Bradley thread he was contacted, media are very slow with news regarding Sunderland.
I've it on decent authority that he's accepted the job too, set to be announced.
Sadly, that's them safe for a few seasons and beyond. Damn. Not sure about that mind, the gap is already big for both us and Newcastle to catch up you'd think. Especially with the fixtures we've already had.

Surprising for me, I thought he'd have had longer out of the game. His head/heart didn't seem to be in it for ages at West Ham, wouldn't surprise me if he ends up just having a half-arsed go at Sunderland and flopping because he's coming back too soon.

Sadly, that's them safe for a few seasons and beyond. Damn. I'm convinced that the era of TP and Sam are coming to an end. I think both WBA and Sunderland are at risk this year, Teams need more than stubborn resistance and a reliance on set pieces to stay up now
