He will certainly make things a lot more entertaining than Rodgers. Very hard to dislike the man. I look forward to hearing his first post match interview.

He can be eccentric and gregarious in his press conferences in Germany and be popular. In England he will be a figure for hatred. Because in England everyone is a figure for hatred. He might make a rational point and have a reasonable gripe but he will still be hated. In the modern age it's hate first think second.

I just love him, he cracks my shit up. I really didn't think he would accept the Liverpool job, to be honest.

He only has 2 players (Sturridge and Coutinho) who are capable of playing for a top 4 team so big rebuilding job on his hands
It's a poisoned chalice as Liverpool think they are bigger and better than what they are

It's a prestigious job at one of the biggest football clubs in world football, and if he succeeds there he will right his name in footballing history. Add that to the fact that he is supposedly being paid an astronomical wage and it's not really that hard to see why he said yes.

I think you'll find that's more to do with the club he's going to , rather than the man himself . He's well respected in the game , and I think he'll be adored by the Iroish on Miseryside . Most were gushing last night as word spread. I think he's got to hit the ground running and for his own sake I hope he does, because the knives will soon be out . His biggest problem will be attracting they very top players needed to change Liverpools fortunes as it is aleady seen across Europe as club in decline . Many would prefer the big city lights of the Capital or Manchester , but having said that , money still talks ....

It's much more convenient when the big clubs have complete arseholes as managers - and they normally oblige.
Klopp is an annoyingly likeable so and so which is very problematic.

The lazy journos at the mail has said the first thing he does at Liverpool is to talk to the player's agents. We all know that he doesn't talk to agents. He'll talk to the players. He has always left the agents to the backroom staff. It will be left to the rest of the Liverpool transfer committee to deal with any agents.

He'll go the same way as other Liverpool managers. They simply cant compete on the world stage like they think they should be able to...Man City struggle to do it even with close to a billion pound sunk into efforts to acheive it. And the youth structure in this country is garbage compared to the German league, so talent has to be in the most part bought in...im expecting the usual top four challenge from them and dont really see this changing, even under the guidance of klopp

Good signing by Liverpool.
I expect like the top class managers, like our own MH, he will attract top players to the club. Whether he can cut it in the Premier league, time will tell; van Gaal has spent a season learning about the Prem. I think it comes as a shock to them that even the bottom Prem sides have the ability to beat the top ones, and even lower league sides can produce surprise results.

He'll need at least 5 years to turn that shower of mediocrity around.
They'll have hounded him out in 3.

I like Klopp but i think hes on a hiding to nothing with Liverpool. The expectations dont match the reality, and im not sure how his high tempo aggressive football is going to translate to English football's lack of a winter break.
