Mr Jamo,
I don't know about popcorn but he has overseen an improvement in the culinary delights available in his Stadium.

Yeah it's tricky when your annual income rises from 1 million to a hundred!

Yeah it's tricky when your annual income rises from 1 million to a hundred! Well if that isn't in itself an appraisal of the most successful chief exec in the clubs history I don't know what is! The way some carry on in here you'd think we'd be better off with Jez Moxey. Forever grateful. BM

What a cunt he turned out to be. In 1995 I sent over a dozen emails to Jacques Chirac protesting about the French nuclear testing, the arrogant French tosser ignored every one. I'm still fuming.

Did you check your pockets straight after? Spent most of it on (very expensive) beer by then :) That's one trick I think Coates and him missed actually, wouldn't have killed them to have bought a few jugs while they were there, still good of them to turn up tho'.

I can't comment on whether he is a nice chap Ely but he has certainly turned this club around. We were no hopers 4th from bottom of the championship when he came in. Look at us now. A good chief executive is vital for any business and we certainly have one of the very best. It beggars belief how some fans of this club are so consumed by blind hatred for the most successful chief executive we have ever had that they can't give him any credit for what he's done. We really do have some "special" fans. BM

Apart from managing our most successful financial period in our history GD As I've said before, if Scholes is as bad as some make out then Peter Coates would need to be as dumb as pigs dribble to put up with him. PC and the Coates family know far more about how competent their Chief Exec is than anybody on here. After all, it's the family's money Scholes is pissing away if he's completely hopeless.

Scholes is a very efficient bean counter.....let's not get too carried away in giving him credit for things the likes of Coates, Pulis and Hughes have done.

I think this gives us a taste of Scholes. There's hundreds of others which give a true measure of the man. Hundreds of personal testimonies that the match day experience is wank, the facilities are wank, the match day pricing is wank, celebrations are wank, the food and drink is wank, transfer windows are wank, the club shop is wank, the ticketing operation is wank.
As true in 2015 as it was in 2008 but I think he's at least doing a full week on occasion now.
And as ever, 'Welcome to Deepdale'

The chief ex runs a business for the owners,if he does not carry out the orders of the owners he would be fired. So in theory he must of done a fantastic job because all he his is the mouth piece for the owners, and we all think we'll most of us think they have done a great job.
