Current - Arnie
Past - Delap/Fuller. Probably Delap though. If you ignored the media and actually watched him play, there was a lot more to his game than just his throw. And the respect the club showed towards him after his leg break and the respect he showed the club (and the fans) make him my favourite player.
Legend is thrown around a lot, but I personally think Rory is up there.

From the current 25 & one from the past, doesn't have to be based on ability or any particular reason just your opinion. I wasn't around for 70's squad so Current squad - Ryan Shawcross Past - Ricardo Fuller We must be related! Rick & Ryan every time for me

Current - Marko Arnautovic - full of talent, mercurial, mental as anything. Past - Chambo - mesmerising when on his game, terrorised defenders, often 3 at a time. The same pair for me. I still can't get my head around how Chambo put that cross in for Georgie Berry against Luton. It was just a sublime piece of skill.

I idolized Terry Conroy as a kid growing up. The most unathletic looking player but on his day he was magic. Don't really have a favorite among the present team, so I'll say GCam just because I admire his work rate and the fact he's willing to push himself in the Prem rather than settling for the easy life in the MLS. I really hope Bojan comes back to where he was before he injury.

Now Bojan
Then Greenhoff
Both very talented players but, equally importantly, both come over as thoroughly decent human beings.
As a child, just before my teens, Denis Wilshaw was my favourite. Mainly because he lived a hundred yards away from us (on the Westlands, Newcastle) and he and his wife were friends of my parents. When he broke his leg at Newcastle I got the job of mowing his lawn that summer and I was gutted for him when he told me that he would have to retire because of the injury. His last service to Stoke was to suggest to Waddo that he should bring Matthews back to give the fans a lift. That worked out well. Had a good teaching career after football.

Current: Bojan, was N'Zonzi
Past: Gordon Banks, though Alan Hudson is the best player I've ever seen in a Stoke shirt
Gordon Banks - undisputed best goalkeeper in the world, and a wonderful, humble human being. I must have his autograph more 50 times when I was a kid but he always signed and smiled and chatted with fans and kids after a game.

Present - Crouch - Never complains and very reliable when called upon, he gives us a different option and we would be worse off without him. A true professional.
Past - Hoekstra - Used to love watching him when i was growing up.
Favourite Manager - Macari - gutted when he left us for celtic, but really pleased when he came back.

Currently Wollschied, I think he's an absolute character.
From the past, absolutely no question for me. The original Super John - Johnny Halls! He was that talented he could get in the team today but he's now a model for Armani. Brilliant. I got teary-eyed when he left for Reading. Special mention goes to Briniar Gunnarsson.
