That one off the Confused.com advert (no idea what it actually is). Some lads were singing it on the train first game of the season.

Not the confused.com advert....... I'd probably know it if I saw/heard it (the advert and the tune that is).

Apparently it's " jump on it " but to me it sounds like "go arnie "

This? How does Geoff Cameron fit into that? I love this song, dancing outside of Hanley Tesco to it whilst for a taxi.

It's a version of that or samples that yeah. It's the 'Jump on it' bit where you just (apparently) shout Geoff Cameron loads.
It's not to Sloop John B or My Old Man's a Dustman,so I'm all for it...

Sounds appalling! But it would move Geoff into waters charted by Danny Pugh, Dean Whitehead, Kenwyne Jones and Danny Collins of players who have songs better than they ever were. *Whispers Mama's name too*

Either that or you're a seriously dim individual. Comparing Geoff to Danny Pugh and Danny Collins is an absolute joke. Pugh was massively out of his depth in the Prem, but was a competent Championship player. Collins was simply a miss, perhaps he played above himself at Sunderland, it happens. Geoff, would walk into the majority of bottom half Premiership teams and a number of midtable ones. He's a far superior player in almost every aspect of his game to the two Danny's..... which admittedly isn't saying much but as pointed out above, only you could turn a thread about a song for Arnie into an anti Geoff thread. The Sidibe comment after just sums up your whole attitude really.

The Sidibe comment after just sums up your whole attitude really. I am not sure if your reply is based on who wrote the original comment or if you disagree that strongly, but I think he is spot on. Stoke fans have a history of singing a 'catchy' tune to death. Mama's song was not sung because he was everyone's favourite player, and we used to sing KJ's chant even when he wasn't playing and he was not exactly a club legend. The same goes for the others mentioned and probably more besides. At Villa on saturday 90% of the singing in & outside of the ground consisited of the Muniesa song. Please don't tell me it is because you think the majority of Stokies adore one of our fringe players that much? I am not criticising any of the players mentioned (well, most of them were shite tbh... ) but merely pointing out that even the lesser stars can be eleveated to mythical status purely by having a singable chant.

Him and Creswell scored 40 goals between them one season at Preston. Fuller is a legend irrespective of Mama and could have been even better..... I'm still bitter we didn't win the league that year!
