In that it was or it wasn't Sid? Got none of the ball, took out the man, in the box... Cameron got himself (or part thereof!) between the man and the ball - never a penalty in a million years. You just can't bring yourself to give him unmitigated praise can you Rob? Irrespective, a top class effort as usual. Plenty of people get paid and don't produce as insightful and enjoyable reading as that. I actually agree. It was a bit clumsy but Geoff got himself between player and ball. It happened when Man Utd played at Swansea a few weeks ago. Rooney got put through in the last minute and Williams got himself between player and ball and muscled him off it.

I'm serious about the non-penalty. It was a nothing incident IMO - good defending by GCam after Veretout had waltzed through the rest of the defence. How is clumsily knocking someone off their feet and looking guilty as sin about it 'good defending'? He was excellent otherwise. He got himself between the man and the ball. I don't view it as clumsy, just good defending, as did the ref. No where near a contentious decision - otherwise Sherwood would have been all over it. Strange how he wasn't.....and you are!

Am I 'all over it' or have I mentioned it like pretty much all other coverage? It would've been weird not to mention it in the context of the game, and if I'd omitted it in my discussion of Cameron's performance I'd have been rightly called out on it.

Don't want it to overshadow an excellent blog that I enjoy and otherwise agree with.
