The "twenty is plenty" campaign really should be changed to "twenty is plenty...... Unless Arnie is playing, then it's an absolute fucking bargain"
He's the type of player that reminds you just why you fell in love football in the first place. Flawed as fuck, but as entertaining as it gets, and a level of natural talent that most footballers can only dream of. Love the bloke.

Who can forget graham with his blonde curtains hair cut Graham Potter. Now there was a square peg in a round hole. Graham Potter is a fantastic manager. Young players chose to come to Östersunds FK because of him. At the moment he is very close to take ÖFK up in the highest league in Sweden. Four years ago, when Potter arrived, they played in the fourth tier. ÖFK has the biggest home crowd in the league. They play very attractive attacking football with an international team including among others the English talent Jamie Hopcutt. Last seasons last game was played away in Stockholm in front of 23600 spectators. The travelling ÖFK supporters had huge banner with the words: "There is only one magic Potter, and it's not Harry"

He doesn't speak very highly of Stoke at all.

Graham Potter's miss on the goal line against Leicester still haunts me to this day.

People from outside the area are starting to take notice of Arnie. They did a little segment on him on Sky Sports today.
Out of contract summer 2017, needs sorting....

Best winger, do me a favour, I think you have forgotten a certain "Sir Stan Matthews"

Couldn't put it any better, I don't think there are too many more exciting footballers than Arnie in the league at the moment. Every time he's on the ball you feel something might happen, the sign of a unique player.

He's like a Ric but nothing like a Ric at the same time.
He's either unplayable or piss poor. You never know what is going to happen but when it does it will 100% create something. Like RF10 I absolutely love Arnie.
If he carries on this form and gets better towards the end of the season like he usually does we need to put him on a new contract asap

Doesn't track back - wrong
Can't score - wrong
Not a team player - wrong
Doesn't start playing til February - wrong
Doesn't get on with his team mates and always celebrates on his own - wrong
Favourite player since Steino - hell, yeah ! ! !

I'm stoned for the first time in years and I can't stop staring at the picture in the original post. It's making me feel an awkward mixture of warmth and sexual confusion.

I love his ability to turn players on the halfway line and break away at pace. He just has the meeting of his man like that every single time. He's been fantastic so far this season.
He has his flaws, but I think that makes him more loveable.

Best winger since Gerry McMahon Joking apart I don't think I've ever seen a winger so bloody strong! His strength is phenomenal He reminds me of Zlatan a bit, with his style and just the way he looks on the ball.

This boy is different gravy and yes he's daft as a box of frogs and plays on the edge but that makes the player.

I hope the club are addressing this . He only has 20 months left on his present deal and it will fly by . A new 5 year deal should on the table

he has had his goofy moment when he cleared Pieters. He made an absolutely awful pass to Diouf and had very poor control of the ball with one pass from Diouf. Ok ... I see it's hard to critizise Arno these days. Still with Arnie going for goals into the box there is nobody on the left wing to assist Pieters with defending. There is a problem to be solved. Marko can't be everywhere.
PS: If this isn't correct English, use your intuition.

Need to get a contract under his nose.
Looks settled and happy with his football.
Let's not fuck about with this one, Stoke.

And look at that half empty Holte End in the background. Sad times for the mighty 'Pride of the Midlands' Villa. Edit I realise now it's not the Holte End it's the main stand Still half empty though.

Shame we have an international break now. Our attacking tactics are simple at the moment, get the ball to Arnie facing towards goal and try to keep up!

after the final whistle and applauding the stoke fans, Arnie and Pieters were playfully rolling around on the floor together like kids, it looked like excellent team spirit, and a positive for things to come from Arnie.

The capacity at Villa Park is nearly 43 thousand (without corners filled in ) those seats in the main stand were empty from the beginning .so 33 thousand not too bad

What a player. Utter class act and the most talented player we've had in years. The word legend is thrown about to easily these days but give him another few years with us and he will absolutely be worthy of such a title. I am looking forward to seeing him at the European championships.

Strange this. There's a couple of posters who always appear on threads about Arnie after the match. But strangely they're absent today? They are having a planning meeting with the Wollscheid and Johnson haters to see where they go from here.

He's started the season well and all credit to him for that. He certainly owes Hughes for the faith in him.
perhaps he will justify the hyperbole on here over time, I hope so.
But some of the hype on this thread is truly embarrassing

It must be difficult to see a player with so much talent not exploit that week in week out, seems to me like he now has found the way of getting the best out of him. He does say he's not high maintenance. You could take his comments in many ways.

Although there is clearly no way that is offside from that picture (he is clearly level) ... recognise one thing that is great about it and hopefully is something we are working on ? ... we have 3 players in the box to attack the cross that comes in COYMP !
