www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/34422330Sorry to say but in this case Wenger is right, I'm surprised he kept his cool for so long. These press conferences are banal, repetitive and the questions are inane. Complete waste of time and energy and these press guys(who I assumed are paid for doing this ) don't have any questions of any value. Why do we even need these press conferences? Totally pointless.

Arsene Wenger complaining about press jumping on bandwagons is like Mother Theresa complaining about people feeding porridge to starving children.

He's happy to use these conferences to push his own agenda - no sympathy that they've turned on him. In fact, they're asking the questions that your average Tarquin is asking i.e. why didn't he play Cech in the CL.

He didn't mind them when he was trying to ruin Shawcross's career.

So,if Given makes a mistake against Chelsea will you be asking Hughes why he didn't pick Butland?

He enjoyed the media when he was tearing lumps out of Ryan? Guess they're boring when he has been made to look a mug....

I still get angry about how unprofessionally he conducted the Shawcross incident but somehow I can't help but feel sorry for him. He's such a sad sad man. You can tell that he wishes he was managing a cluster of Gites down in the Loire with a nice little side business making particularly inedible cheeses. Tragically his Gallic pride won't let him retreat to his own personal Elba. It tether's him to the hard wooden benches and ice-gripped touch-lines of provincial England, frowning his dignity down the proverbial pissoir. C'est la Vie.

Wenger hates the press unless he can use it to play games, if i had a penny for every time Wenger has said "players need protection" to soften the league as a whole i'd have enough money to hire a hitman to take the wrinkly old ballbag out, that and the whole assassination of Shawcross in the media lead by the boring french bellend

to be honest pre match press conferences are pretty pointless and some of the questions are boring. but it is funny how all these years he's been ok with them until they finally turn on him. Fuck off Wenger.

He was happy to stir it up with the press after The Ramsey incident
So much so that he based his remainder of that season on using it to try and create a siege mentality amongst his players
The man is the biggest hypocrite in football

So,if Given makes a mistake against Chelsea will you be asking Hughes why he didn't pick Butland? Yes as it's a fair question as is the question to Wenger. The bloke signed no other players bar Cech and then didn't play him in a game they had to win. It smacks of arrogance and I think he's getting off lightly from the press and his clubs supporters.

The question isnt even boring though really is it. If I was an Arsenal fan I would want to know why the hell Cech wasnt played in the game.
He is and always will be a complete TNUC

He's a whining french bitch who loves the easy sycophantic questions when things are going well. If journalists aren't blowing smoke up his arse he tends to spit his dummy out. Megalomaniac Tosser.
