This news genuinely brought tears to my eyes. A fellow Biddulphonian, Jordan was well known and loved by younger members of the family. This just shouldn't happen to one so young. RIP Jordan. Same here - awful, awful news. Rest in peace, Jordan.

It's bad enough when a gran or granddad die of this kind of illness but one so young you simply don't expect.
Rest in peace Jordan and our thoughts and sympathies to your family and friends.

Such a shame to lose a life at the age of 17. I'll be clapping on the 17th minute of the Watford game. We'll be with you mate. RIP Jordan.

"Cameron isn't good enough", "We've lost our leaders", "We should've signed a centre half"....
News like this puts things into perspective. How many hours do we all spend arguing about the small things that don't really matter? We're all in this for the same end. We're all part of the same footballing family.
A 17 year old Stoke fan went on holiday with his family, with his whole future ahead of him, and he won't be coming home.
Life can be so cruel at times.
Heartbreaking stuff.

RIP Jordan sleep well - cant imagine what his family are going thru. As a Grandad myself I can only thank God (and the NHS) for diagnosing a heart-problem with our 3 years old Grandson in Leeds. Spotted in the womb and operated on within days of his birth. Already 2 OHS and doing well he'll will need another OHS to replace a valve when he is about 12. As long as we can spot these signs EARLY then hopefully our kids can have a chance of a good life. Farwwell Jordan.

If it gives you hope then I can tell you my wife had OHS as a baby and another OHS around 5 years ago. She's 28 now, we recently had out first baby and she's fit and healthy. If it's treated properly a normal and full life can be had.

Amazing turnout for Jords funeral at St Lawrences in Biddulph today
Traffic was stopped, literally hundreds outside the church - friends and family, school mates, football mates and reps from lots of local sides
We'll be with you mate.
