Bournemouth, Watford and Villa will go down. Nah...At least one of Sunderland & toon down, maybe even both...As always villa will dig deep...My 3 are sunderland toon & Bournemouth. That's weird, I thought that I put Sunderland in. No idea why Villa is on there... :/

Sunderland Newcastle and stoke are currently the worst 3 in the league. There's a thing called a league table!! Just go look

and u seem just about wrong at pretty much everything u say on this forum! Thousands of useless comments made! We're in the bottom 3 without a win in the league for a reason..... You cannot expect from this league with the like Wilson and Cameron playing regularly. This was the start I expected. This was how I expected us to play. I don't expect it to change soon. The only hope is Shawcross. I thought the only hope was N'Zonzi mounted on his white stallion as he returns to save Stoke from the perils of relegation? Please.... Put the sock away. Have some dignity.

At this moment it is correct that we are in the bottom 3.
We have a star studded forward line that is misfiring for different reasons and an absolutely rancid back four with an overworked keeper.
We also have a manager that has stopped picking the side on merit and is making substitutions a conference manager wouldn't make.
The key is in the word "team".
A lot of those problems will sort themselves out and we'll rise up the table.

Not worried as we'll pick up points. Though in Jan we should think about getting a good cdm/cm in.

I agreee, I think we are one of the worst six starting 11s but squadwise we are probably 11th.
Our squad is very poorly balanced which is why we can't put out a good 11.
We also aside from Diouf have an alarming lack of pace. I am definitely concerned.

i reckon the only 1 of the current bottom 4 that will go down are Sunderland, you wont go, newcastle and us always seem to get out of it, but if we lose to the unwashed on tues the fans will turn on Tactics Tim and the teams confidence [whats left of it] will evaporate i can still remember Carlisle being top after 3 games then bottom at the end, on that basis i would put Watford, B'mouth and Norwich into the mix ! way too early to be worried in my opinion

Its hard to call yet the new teams are playing with enthusiasm and a few teams including us have brought players in from abroad who are still settling in .
I would expect all the promoted teams to have a bad run at some pint and how they respond will be critical to their chances
Of the more established teams you have to say that at the moment Villa , Sunderland Newcastle and us look the most disjointed . I dont see any other teams relegation candidates at the moment unless Southampton fail to gel this time after another summer of changes

There is no way Newcastle will stay up this season if Steve McClaren is in charge for the full season. Fortunately for Newcastle though I think he'll be sacked before the end of the year.

Three of the current bottom 4 for me , but not sure which 3 . Said in the Summer before a ball was kicked top of the bottom 4 would be a result for us having banked the cash and destroyed the spine of the team absolutely stand by that which was mocked at the time , wonder how many of those mockers would take 17th now ? just hope 35 points will get us 17th a d somehow we can scrape that many given its a huge improvement on current run rate .
We've had a benign run really chelsea x 2 man city and utd x 2to come , Suggest we have 30 games to get 32 points current run rate suggests we will get another 15 . Doesn't include west ham x2 swanse x2 Liverpool away ( guaranteed defeat ) so let's say 32 points from 25 games big ask already to get to 35 , 40 requires 38 from 25 games

Unbelievable shite spouted on this thread by many who should know better. (Benji boy I can forgive because he genuinely is a troll that needs psychiatric help). Only six games played and we are talking relegation every week? Unbelievable and totally depressing. Funny how a rival fan talks more sense than many on here?

Cris I think you are dead right, this forum is becoming a joke amongst the Stoke fans I actually talk to, you included. Sorry I missed a pint with you yesterday, we were stuck on the A50 and didn't get in until the second goal! Will you be up for Bournemouth?
