4-2-3-1 Butland Johnson Wilson Muni Pieters Geoffrey Whelan Shaq Bojan Walters Diouf Arnie and Ireland have had enough chances and just don't do it. Apart from when Ireland ran the show at Spurs you mean, that should have earned him a start but for some reason it didn't, its time to give him one now.

Whichever side we put out, we need to get behind them! Stating the obvious, but there you go!

Quick Question. Is there any truth to the rumor that we must play Van Ginkel as a part of the loan contract????

Boskamps he got his start at Luton next match and was dire, he never has a good game from the start only as a sub coming on against tired players. Hope he proves me wrong .I wont hold my breath mind.

Butland Johnson-muniesa-Wilson-pieters Whelan-Cameron Shaqiri-bojan-arnautovic Diouf Substitutions: bojan 60" for Ireland, arnautovic 70" for Walters, diouf 80" for crouch. I always wonder why people put the timings of the subs on, what if Ireland is having a stormer, or any of them for that matter. Fair enough mate, Its just what I think should and could happen

Am assuming Leicester fan from the use of "you" and us", sorry if I'm way off the mark! Very interesting to hear - depends which of our attacks turns up this Saturday (the clinical/fluid kind, or the misfiring/sluggish kind). Do you reckon you'll set up like last year (hoping for some good counterattacks + a hopeful goal)? Yeah Leicester fan!! (booo hiss) That seems to be how we are setting up away from home. Even against Spurs and Villa at home we tended to drop very deep (until we conceded), even the strikers sitting almost in our own half. We'd then just let the oppo have the ball and knock it about their own area. Spurs and Bournemouth both had massive amounts of possession, but little came of it due to most of it being away from our goal. Problem is... Our full backs are Schlupp, who was a striker not so long ago, and De Laet. They both have clangers in them so sitting back doesn't work as we end up gifting a goal at some point. Then we fly out of the blocks and attack like mad men. We might learn that attack from the start is our best bet currently! I think it will be a better game than last season at yours, we were terrible until Cambiasso came on. I think our squad is much better than when we played then, so we should have a bit more quality. We're still not keeping possession very well. But much of that is down to how we play. We play quick ball into space for runners, rather than pass, pass pass. Fair enough - if the plan works, stick to it! Hoping we give you a good game on Sat, rather than a limp and turgid affair. To be fair to us - even though we've lost both home games, our performances at home have been encouraging (but got played down due to a wondergoal/two silly red cards). So it could literally go either way. Worried about Mahrez on the break. I think every Stoke fan is hoping that this is the game when Shaqiri really imposes himself on proceedings; he should tip the scales more in our favour if he's feeling it on Sat. Prediction for scoreline?

So we play two new centre backs, drop our first choice left back and stick one of our two first choice centre backs and play him there, whilst dropping our left winger and starting our little Spanish genius, who has yet to start a Premiership game. It's not your team that's the problem (although it wouldn't be mine), it's just the number of changes and the disruption such a selection will create. It won't happen, no matter what you might think.

Knowing that we are a little fragile at the moment I expect they'll try to start fast and grab an early goal to get us on the back foot. e have to be switched on right from the off to prevent that. I can see one goal settling this.

I seem to be in a small minority who thinks Van Ginkel should keep his place. He needs to play himself into his role and get used to The Prem.
Surely Leicester will get men behind the ball and invite us on. We don't need two sitting DMs at home in this kind of game.
At the back end of last season Zonz seemed to be going more box to box from a 4-2-3-1 set up, creating a fluid midfield with Charlie. I think MVG needs to do this to support Ireland or Bojan.
If Johnson's fit he should start, and Marc Wilson may be considered, but I would be surprised if he made too many changes. Muniesa looked a little vulnerable against Walcott's pace, and he may be more at risk than Cameron.
Tough game again and not the best time to face the Foxes who must be full of confidence. We may not turn the corner this weekend, but we will in time.
Butland
Johnson Cameron Muniesa Pieters
Van Ginkel Whelan
Shaqiri Ireland Arnautovic
Diouf
Given, Wilson, Bardsley, Bojan, Walters, Crouch, Joselu
It's a game we could do with winning and I think we have to go for it.

I'd go with the following this week:
Butland Johnson Wilson Muniesa Pieters Whelan Van Ginkel Shaqiri. Bojan Arnie Diouf
From Bojans comments earlier this week and his cameo at Arsenal, he seems like he's ready for a start. Hopefully he can make our attack tick, linking up well with both Shaq and Arnie, whilst playing Diouf through on goal. I'd play him for 60 minutes and then bring Ireland on to see out the game.
Concerning defensive mid, I'd stick with Van Ginkel. I think he needs to prove himself and I'd give him the chance before sending him to the bench. In defence, I haven't seen anything from Geoff Cameron that says he deserves a starting place, so one of Wilson or Wolshcheid to come in for me. I know people slaughter Wolschield, but he can't be much worse than what's been served up in recent weeks.
I fully expect Leicester to set up on the counter and judging by there flying start we need to be disciplined. Saying that we have got a point to prove this week and I fully expect us be at Leicester from the beginning. Here's hoping for three points and to kick start the season!
