Now the window has closed, we have named our 25 man squad and we see what players we have to last until January, who should we loan out?
Already, it is becoming quite clear which players are in the 25 but not necessarily likely to find themselves in the match day 18 too often.
1. Teixeira - not even in the 25, so it is a loan or a lonely few months for the Brazilian-Slovenian mystery signing (ie it is a mystery why we signed him).
2. Bardsley - only the Luton cup match to show for the season so far. Johnson has taken his right back spot, and Cameron and Wilson can both fill in there, if needed.
3. Sidwell - the fact we tried to sign Jedi suggests Hughes is not enamoured with the Ginger Ninja as back up to, or partner of, Whelan in the engine room.
4. Haugaard - the Danish giant showed a great deal of promise in the friendlies, but is third choice and needs to get some regular game time in English football to aid in his development.
5. Bachmann - Ross County returned him, but surely a lower league team will take a chance on him on loan after his impressive Wrexham spell?
After that, it is less clear who could go out - Walters as he has burnt his bridges with the transfer request? Odemwingie to get some minutes in his legs after his knee injury and recent hamstring strain? Crouch as he is third choice forward behind Diouf and Joselu? Moseley/Shenton/Lecygne/Moha/Molina/Telford/Waddington/Waring: lower league development loans or keep them together in a strong under-21 team?

Can't see us allowing Sidwell to leave on loan, the rest you mention all could be though.

I can see a few seniors going on short term deals for match fitness. A few of the younger lads being loaned out for longer for experience.

Bachmann and Teixeira are certainties to at least try and loan out.
Haugaard with a recall clause would be excellent for us and him.
I'd keep everyone else just incase of injury, to be honest.

Yup, 1 - 5 for sure but with an immediate recall for Sidders, just in case and a one way ticket for Bardsley.
I would also add Wingie to that lot for some game time to got up to speed.
And what to do with Woolly? He's not going to get any better on the bench as 5th choice.

I do feel a bit sorry for Sidders. Before he got injured last season he was starting to show glimpses of why we signed him. However, he has cost us in 3 or 4 games with silly fouls, losing his man (Liverpool)and generally being off the pace. I hope he can get his 'mojo' back but time aint his friend.

Waddington, Shenton or Lecygne need a loan.
We have 4 decent young central midfielder and 3 places, Shenton has been playing on the right wing for the 21's which is no good for him or us. One of those 3 needs to go out on loan, ideally both Waddington and Lecygne tbh.

Apparently, we are the only Prem club that does not have any one out on loan?

If our" fringe" players were any good then a queue would be forming . I don't see any queue!

I just hope the Stoke management team are looking in and are taking notes to save them the thankless job of having to pick who stays and who goes out on loan.
There's a few broken clocks on here I think.
