According to The Beeb, Cyprus have had 72% possession after nearly half-an-hour. Doesn't necessarily count for much, but it seems, well, weird.

Without looking on google, anyone know who our last Welsh International was? Was Danny Collins Welsh and did he ever represent them? There was obviously Robbie James and Mickey Thomas but there must have been some more recent? So many questions!!

Just shows what a shit job Hodgson is doing. Coleman is a dreadful manager and even Lawrie Sanchez got results with Northern Ireland.
It goes to show a tiny bit of organisation can go a long way at International level.

It goes to show a tiny bit of organisation can go a long way at International level. They've got a decent core that he's organised and then a world class talent they can rely on and in Ramsey someone who is a bloody good player. I don't think it's that hard to mould that into a workable side especially when you've got a good underrated defender like Ashley Williams at the back. Your core is there, your X Factor is there. Take him out and they're nothing really.

Coleman may be a 'dreadful' manager but he's doing a terrific job. In the circumstances he took over it's a great story. Sure they've got Bale and other talented players but the manager still has to get a tune out of them - a succession of managers haven't. The Dutch don't even look like qualifying and we're mealy mouthing Wales, just saying it's a bit of organisation.
I'd fancy them against England just now.

Gareth Bale, bloody hell.
From big eared Soton left back to Balon D'Or contention etc.
Dragging Wales relentlessly to the top.

Hope Israel beat them on sunday. Hate the sheepshaggers Even if they lose to Israel and Bosnia they still only have to beat Andorra to qualify as Belgium and Israel play each other so both cannot overtake them. If Israel won all 3 then Wales would still finish above Belgium as they have a better head to head record. It's in the bag....

Only 2 goals conceeded in 7 games which is great organisation, with a lot of 'journeymen' players. I don't see how he can reasonably be described as a 'dreadful' manager if he gets them to their first finals since well before Sir Stan retired.
Fantastic result by Iceland as well - now only 1 point away from qualification for their first finals.

Impressive by Wales to top the group when you look at Belgium's team tonight, some expensive transfers in that line up.....
Courtois, Alderweireld, Kompany, Vermaelen, Vertonghen, Witsel, Nainggolan, de Bruyne (Mertens), Fellani, Hazard, Lukaku (Origi). Plus players such as Benteke, Januzaj, Mirallas, Chadli, Defour and Dembele not even in the starting XI, young squad as well............

Credit to Wales. Team spirit and a touch of talent, sounds familiar. Just hate the accent Barry Horne and the awful One show talentless Alex Jones?
But great for Wales almost there.
