The Pulis headbutt one was fantastic. Shame it was deleted. I can't see why it was deleted, it's just a bit of a laugh: There are some interesting tidbits in Ryan's answers.

Sent from my Nexus 5 using proboards Actually, he said 'defenders'. Probably not wrong in that regard, but we need more than just a pure defender, ie passing ability, comfortable on the ball.

He's gone even further up in Bayern's estimations after trolling Geoff Cameron. Yes but sadly he is now the subject of a Sheikh Momo fatwah for stating that the style of football employed by Hughes suits him better than that of Pulis. Posters are being ripped from bedroom walls at Chateaux Tazi as we speak!

I'm always puzzled by people on here slagging off 'social media' as if it's the Black Death. What do you think a football message board is? I don't think that the companion really stacks up. There's a world of difference between anonymously writing a load of rubbish on a board of around 200 like minded Stoke supporters and self importantly transmitting a load of opinions in your own name as if what you think really, really matters. I really wish news outlets wouldn't indulge them by publishing their idle thoughts. When the BBC are inserting Twitter irrelevance into their articles, something is badly wrong.

I'm never disappointed by your imagination and shameless ability to make things up. I was talking to you about Shawcross a couple of weeks ago! Your views were clear, not good enough for the national side. As for Huth, I've seen you telling people we should let it go and that Wollscheid is 'the way we're going!'. Come on Mark don't be shy of your views even if the Skipper thinks they're daft!

I wasn't suggesting that Twitter and the Oatcake are exactly the same, just pointing out that message boards are a form of social media. Anyway, semantics.

On Twitter you're only transmitting opinions to people who are interested enough to follow you. If they're not, they won't. And the broadcasters only publish tweets when it is deemed relevant to a bigger story, don't they. E.g. @cilla_black It's baking hot and I'm already trollied! Must get the heel fixed on these shoes! #surprisesurprise Sent from my Nexus 5 using proboards

I understand that real dirt is difficult to dig for a club hater like you at a time when things are going so damn well and a bit of poetic licence is your only resort. For the record: After stating what a fantastic contribution Huth had made to the club I simply pointed out to the torch bearing lynch mob you attached yourself to that it wasn't exactly Armageddon time to sell him on the basis that we had actually a very respectable goals against statistic during the near two years he didn't play. Achieved incidentally whilst actually attacking the opposition. After stating that I wouldn't swap Ryan for anyone when it came to playing central defender for Stoke City in the Premier League I have serious doubts he would last five minutes at Champions League or International level. You aren't exactly allowed to compete physically in my view and that removes half of his effectiveness. Also I don't think he is comfortable enough on the ball after spending his important developing years playing nothing but hoof and hope football. I look forward to your future barrel scrapings with some excitement
