If what I've been reading is correct he's got every right to tell Van Gaal to piss off. He's been making shit up about him left, right and centre apparently. Not good when he stay is it Louis?

De Gea was waiting in his girlfriends house in Madrid all suited and booted waiting to turn out for the big announcement. I'd want to fookin kill people if I was him tonight.

Sadly due to the ridiculous amounts of money sloshing around at this level, incompetence is easily swept under the carpet, record companies are exactly the same.

Yep...apparently, FIFA are prepared to listen to an appeal by both Clubs (Sky Sports)

Apparently the ref at FIFA has looked at it again and decided it wasn't offside because it was Man United and has allowed the deal to stand.

Both clubs have appealed
What's the betting they find out the paper work just happened to have been submitted before the deadline .....nudge nudge wink wink
It's Real Madrid and Man Utd we are talking about here not Barnet and Northampton

Spanish official couldn't open a PDF file? Now that, is fucking hilarious. Why can I imagine him on an old Pentium 1 with Windows 95, sitting in front his screen with this window, desperately trying various applications with no success: Blast from the past.

according to SSN, La liga never received any paperwork from Real Madrid, so an appeal would be fruitless

De Gea wanted a move, Madrid don't want to pay a stupid amount for a player on their last year of contract but they also don't want to piss De Gea off by saying wait their for 6 months and we'll sign you for free so what do they do?
Computer malfunction, damn, we'll just have to wait til christmas, we tried though!

This will reel ‘em back in – an update on the De Gea situation. Manchester United are relaxed about what has unfolded...
United view Real’s tactic of leaving their bid late for De Gea as having backfired on the Spanish side. It is understood the first bid they received for De Gea was at lunchtime yesterday. Real are considering an appeal to Fifa in the hope that can rescue the deal.

Sky say La Liga are still to see any paperwork for David de Gea's proposed transfer from Manchester United to Real Madrid. It was initially reported the deal had stalled after documents were received late - 28 minutes after the Spanish transfer deadline at midnight on Monday - only for Sky Sports to then learn that the Spanish league's governing body had not received anything from Real confirming De Gea had been added to their squad.Plot thickens.

More likely the other way round. I've worked with clients in Madrid and as a rule they are better educated and more savvy than their British counterparts. They are also more likely to invest in the latest technology as the businesses tend to buy what they need as opposed to the Brits who tend not to invest because their accountants won't loosen the purse strings. My money is definitely on the Shit being cheapskates in the back office.
