Don't know if it's been mentioned but he was on the radio today saying he was going to talk to Hughes about his position as he's unhappy not playing.
What's the odds on Pulis making a double swoop with Walters ?

We do indeed need him; with Ryan out, Marc Wilson is our only half decent back up for the defense

It would be a big loss if Wilson goes, he is very versatile and for me our 3rd best centre back at the club (despite Cameron's improved performances). Surely we should be looking to keep Wilson and Walters and getting rid of Odemwingie and Bardsley?!
Although I know we can get more money for the first two...

If he's not happy with not starting, pretty much kills any chance of an extension.
But as it stands, he's probably the only cover we've got for Pieters unless we want to mess Muniesa around - and is first-choice CB cover until Shawcross is back.
So wouldn't think there's any chance of him going?

But we won't get better than Wilson (who is vastly underrated) who will be content to be a back up. If you bring someone of any real quality in then you risk pissing off another player who will then seek talks. This is the problem that clubs like Stoke City have.

Even with Wilson staying, I still think we need another defender. If you could get someone else instead of Wollscheid, then I would much more happy What really bothers me, is that you get the impression that some on here seems to think you only need 11 players!

I'd be playing him at center back right now.
It all looks the wrong way around to me at the moment.
All the brawn is in the fullbacks, Pieters with his sturdy frame and urban woodsman beard and I hadn't appreciated what a big and gym ripped fella Glenn Johnson is.
By comparison we look powder puff in the center of defence with the diminutive Muniesa and Cameron's athletic but willowy frame.

If this is true, Wilson isn't happy as back up either. He's been injured and in the first game he was fit enough to participate in, he featured. He has nothing at all to grumble about

Perhaps he should get his fitness up and be able to play a ball to others feet this season.

Pure speculation on my part but what if Wilson is aware Hughes is looking to bring in another defender before the window closes.Maybe he thinks he'll be further down the pecking order so make it aware he's not a happy chappy

Should be at CB with Muniesa with Cameron at CM ahead of MVG.

We do indeed need him; with Ryan out, Marc Wilson is our only half decent back up for the defense With Ryan out for me he's half of our best CB partnership with Muni but obviously if he's not happy he won't sign an extension and the club would have to sell and replace him. If the club weren't prepared to lose N'Zonzi for nothing rather than sell for a low ball fee you'd expect them to take the same stance with Wilson and as it appears Walters. We've been living under a brick to be honest in not previously having to face losing players we want to keep. It happens to all clubs even the biggest, we'll just have to get used to it and get a bit more proactive about keeping players we're determined to hold onto with longer to run on their contracts or start actively looking to move them on once they enter the last 2 years to avoid clubs having our pants down like they've done with Bego and N'Zonzi who's fees look ridiculously low in the present market.

Wilson is a walking mistake at CB but appears to be ahead of Wolfy, keep Wilson as back up.

The fact he and Walters are the only ones who haven't re-signed tells you something's amiss when you look at the roll call of the new contracts being given out to the 2016 contract expirees.
We'd have to bring in someone who could do a job at left-back for starters, before being comfortable about him going.
If we want a decent fee, it's probably this summer when he'd have togo, but unless we bring in at least one defender, he's much too valuable to even give us a decision to make

De Gea moving to Madrid £29 million we sold Bego for peanuts compared to that.

The last thing we need is unrest in the camp and / or a snowball effect from the Walters issue We are also in danger of making too many changes too soon Our success in the Prem has involved playing as a team - not 11 superstars It's great to see ambition but MH needs to manage a big squad with all players wanting to be involved - that's his job
