Song will likely end up in London. Unless CL football is at the club he eventually signs for.
I think LMH is patiently persevering with MVG. Hopefully MVG will suddenly take off...

MVG will not take off until affelay continues to be played as well They both take up the same space as affelay continuously drifts infield

Correct. I can't believe supporters are not questioning the owners over the lack of money spent. Personally the money spent doesn't bother me, its the players we sign that does, we've had two very good finishes without big spending. I'm fine with the job Hughesy has done, in fact I think he's performed miracles on a shoestring. We have, apart from Shaquiri, been in the bargain basement again, despite "the money being there", however. I think it's clear what the actual transfer policy is, and that's ok, but at least be honest about it. I thought the "money is there" line meant that Hughes identifies a need in the team and is allowed the required amount to purchase players to fill that need. So if we need a holding midfielder, Hughes is given a reasonable amount of money to get one; as yet, this hasn't happened. I agree with those who say we can't chuck money at everything, but sometimes quality and experience cost money. It's getting to the point where if a team spends £10 million on someone, we are laughing at them for profligacy. I'll be very disappointed if we don't get at least two new players in before the window closes.

We've spent NOTHING over the past 5 transfer windows. Before you pipe up about Shaq, we've sold over £18million worth of players this window alone. With Walters maybe/probably on his way this will go over £20million. Is the manager being backed? I agree, Pugs. I think Hughes is having the piss taken out of him. Other teams are going to be better this season, and we are in danger of falling behind. That is inexcusable, in my opinion.

MAYBE - we're being paid in instalments for the players we've sold BUT required to pay up front for the players we're after - hence cash flow problems

I keep opening this thread thinking that it's going to be about something we should sing to crewe fans next time we play them
