Midfielders: Michael Carrick (Manchester United), James Milner (Liverpool), Ross Barkley (Everton), Jonjo Shelvey (Swansea), Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain (Arsenal), Raheem Sterling, Fabian Delph (Both Manchester City), Ryan Mason (Tottenham).

As much as the national team annoy me, I still get a real sense of pride from one of our players being selected and Stoke City next to their name

Not convinced by Milner selection, and Delph? Cant even get a game!
Its a young squad though, so hopefully some hope for the future.
Just need a good manager and Rooney to retire...

Good. The lad is absolute top class. We've had some superb keepers down stoke over the years and it just continues.

Ryan Mason ... token Spurs player who has to be included by law. Even Hodgson wouldn't stoop to picking Kyle Calamity Walker right now.

Funny that Woy picks a Stoke player, after he's asked not to.

Not exactly a side that instilled fear in the rest of the world ....this is all England has to offer? Butland world class but the rest of those mugs would struggle to get on the team sheet in MLS ....

The famous English name fabian Delph What has his name got to do with an England call up? Jagielka is hardly the commonest English name, I presume Cahill is an Irish name and in years gone by Stokies were calling for our own Frank Soo to be capped - he actually got wartime caps - but never full caps. When when did ability stop being the main reason a player should get called up - when did their name start to matter?
