Yet had two players sent off
This must be some sort of record
thanks to MOTD for highlighting it....thought it deserved its own thread in case anybody missed it.
and the dirty cynical team still had 11 on the pitch.... an absolute travesty.

All that means is the players behaved when down to 9 men. Hughes has failed to shift the Dirty Stoke image.

It sort of gives the impression that WBA played the game to intimidate our players and get them to react. Unfortunately they did. Whether this was planned or not will never be known. No doubt everyone will have their own view.

Did Adam's when he dawdled on the ball count as a foul statistically? I don't know if advantages do or not.
He should have been booked for that.
He was then correctly sent off.
It should have been 4 fouls and 1 sending off, still shit from our pov mind!

If I was a football manager and Charlie Adam was in the opposition I'd get my players to wind him mercilessly. It's a great tactic against him because he's always liable to react. So yes I think it was planned. Him and Gardner have history too......
