Charlie Adam is defo red card as we all know he has previous Fior this kind of thing he knew exactly what he was doing blind side of ref but not the linesman that was his response to the tackle Looking at the replay I'm still not sure it was a red or that he even did anything.

There were signs earlier on when he ran into the advertising. Yeah I think he was justifiably aggrieved over this and he was still smarting from it when he raised his hands to Gardner, which he shouldn't have done. Gardner's reaction was embarrassing mind. It is a red.

The worst part is that Afellay is 29, so it can't even be pit down to youth / naivety.

It looks harsh and I thought it was harsh at the time and I sit directly above the incident in block 28. Seeing it again and I think it the final movement of his foot that the liner got excited by and that's got him the red. Anyone who knows anything about football should know that these things go on all the time, sometimes they are clever about it and get away with it.

Said to my mate before kick off that he's put his hand in players faces every game. He really isn't good enough and needs to learn a lot

Both red cards IMO this is the premiership not the bloody playground they get paid a lot of money not to do this.
The WBA player should have gone as well.

Should have gone against Liverpool for the same thing worked out in weeks by the premier league but what do you expect if you buy in the basement only Johnson so far looks like an improvement the rest Including Shaq have taken us back miles .
10 points from the same set of fixtures last year we are on the very brink of a QPR like start two home defeats to Leicester and Bournemouth and we are there .

We sit right in front of where it happened and I instantly thought he would be walking as a result of it. I wasn't the only one who saw it that way at the time either.

I'll say exactly what I said in the other thread.
It doesn't matter if he's a convicted psychopath, decisions should be made based on the here and now with absolutely NO stereotypical views or agendas.
There's no way on earth you can possibly prove intent, and therefore no way on earth you can justify sending him off.
Afellay deserved to go, no two ways about it, but the Baggies lad should have joined him.

It's bullshit because he said he has form for it therefore it must have been deliberate which of course nobody but Adam can say for certain.

Over dramatic heat of the moment post alert!
I wouldn't be arsed if he never played for us again.
It has been coming because he can't take being kicked, he's a right precious little bellend.
He either needs to man up or be perma-benched.

Both red cards were not exaggerated. Stupid from Afellay and Adam. Mark Hughes should take them to task.

The only decision Oliver got wrong is the yellow for Gardner. Apart from Gardener pushing Afflelay into the advertising boards. Missing a blatant free kick on Diouf in the second half around the box. Constant time wasting. Adams was for absolutely nothing. Oliver came to The Brit with preconceived ideas about having to produce a strong refereeing performance and he got it completely wrong. Refs should have to come out after the game and explain themselves, its ridiculous they are above criticism. He was over zealous and ruined a good game. It was a shocking performance.
