'The yanks must be stupid' Unfortunately, there is still a fair few people in the US (mostly from middle America) who still buy into simplistic politics like this, especially if someone like Trump makes a point of parading around as an upstanding American citizen and making people believe that the alternative is somewhat unpatriotic.

Jon Stewart is an absolute televisual legend.
He'll be sorely missed.

This is what you get when you fuck with your own people. Probably most who ridicule this don't actually know why this is happening. When you get two parties and theyre no different from each other then you have to expect the unexpected.

The American electoral system is really complicated, and it is extremely hard to get to grips as to who wins what and all the Caucuses, Primaries, electoral colleges etc etc etc are confusing. I have read that if Trump gets the nomination then his rivals have all said they will not back him, and at the GOP convention in June or July it is likely that his nomination will be contested by Mitt Romney and the GOP will in fact vote for him to run, which makes a complete mockery of the whole system of nominations that we are currently watching. Maybe if any of our USA based stokies can shed any light on this farce.

As bad as Trump truly is , he seems more popular for being outspoken than Hilary Clinton .
