Personally I think at the start of every season every club should state the cost of away tickets
this way the cheaper clubs and charge the same ticket price for away crowds from the greedy clubs.
If Chelsea want to charge stoke fans 50quid a ticket then stoke should charge them 50quid a ticket.
This way it may keep the ticket prices smaller for away crowds.

This really has to stop. Nowt against Villa, but £41?????? I don't partake in the pint due to driving, but it is a dry away end, the worst re space on the concourse, facilities are woeful and one of the worst views
I really do not get why home teams (including us) charge so much for away fans - the revenue generated is tiny on circa 1.500 people

Absolutely disgraceful.
In this era where gate income is less and less important, the individual decision-makers coming up with these figures really have got to be named and shamed.
There's more scope now to be more forward-thinking, rather than trotting out these shocking, piss-taking prices

Thankfully, I'm collecting for the Acorns charity that day with a few Villa friends so will get a ticket in.
I paid £65 for Liverpool and £57 for the Norwich match for myself and my son. I'm an exile so don't have a season ticket. Things soon add up. For how little some clubs make on match days in comparison to the TV deal it is scandal prices are not cheaper. More money, more wages.
The Germans have it spot on.

There really needs to be an organised national boycott on away games. The amount they make is miniscule in their annual income.
But unfortunately while people still pay these prices nothing will change. Another game I was looking forward to attending but will not go again out of principle.

It would be lovely to think that one weekend all away fans just stay away - it would scare the hell out of Sky and the Premier League because without atmosphere it is less of an attraction

This is the same year in, year out at Villa, we can moan just the same on the Oatcake, but how do we have a greater input in change? Expecting Malcolm Clarke with his £20 is plenty shortly

Ten is plenty with the money being poured like confetti onto PL clubs. Even relegation guarantees clubs £65m in parachute payments over three seasons. It's a bastard scandal and need sorting.

That's modern football for you. How is football meant to be the working class man's game any more. It simply isn't and times have changed and football has suffered as a result . The style of play etc is better and the training facilities etc but for the average working class lad the whole match day experience isn't the same. Thankfully I was there when football still belonged to the fans .

I've recently moved to Germany and last weekend I paid 15 euros each for Dusseldorf vs Freiburg and Monchengladbach vs Mainz 05. Standing tickets at 2 great games in fantastic stadiums, with public transport to the game included in the price, for less than £22! And I could have a beer in the stand without feeling like a hooligan

We'll struggle to change the minds of other clubs unless we take action first. Are we bold enough to charge all away fans a tenner or £15, for example,in the hope they reciprocate?
Someone has to take the first step. There's positive press to be gained from it being us.

Needs to be a collective movement from many clubs on ticket prices for anything to happen

No ticket outside hospitality should cost more than £25 considering the money they make but we will pay it and more at other games sadly

"Supporters who wish to sit down during the match are advised to request tickets at the front of the stand."
Never seen that before. Might make atmosphere a bit better.

This is what the 200k should be used for? Games which are overpriced and all full price adult tickets. Made 20 pound.

The problem is the clubs such as Arsenal, Man Utd, Chelsea, Liverpool know that if the real fans don't snap up the tickets then the tourist brigade will. I can't see it changing anytime soon either, the situation in Germany, 20 euro's or whatever for a ticketand being able to enjoy a pint as you watch sounds like heaven.
