Why the fuck can't we keep it steady?A song usually starts off ok,then a few bars in we are off on some seemingly speed inspired babble.I love "we'll be with you " but if it's not sung at a steady pace it just sounds shite.?What can be done?Im sure I saw a good while back some kind of rehearsal with a guy called ziggerzag at the helm.......we made a good noise last night but most songs fizzle out after we gallop toward the end.

Overkill as well! We get a new song and do it to death, a lot of people are sick of the Muniesa song already

At the lane we started singing we'll be with you, and I honestly couldn't keep up. It was ridiculous. It a case of sing it as fast as you can and clap like seals.

Do any other sets of supporters do it? I can't say I've ever noticed really. We've been doing it for far too long now and it's a joke, every song is sung at break neck speed. As for the Muniesa song,I'm pissed off with it already and I haven't been to any games yet this season

I heard a few new ones yesterday, which was nice, and defo liked the Geoff one AND the USA chants made me laugh but it's a real shame we rush them all, plus it's Bojan and not Boyan .....if you see what I mean!

Could we get a metronome installed or a portable one for away games? Or get everyone to finger clap the rhythm prior to singing.

Or keep off the ale, narcotics, lubricate with evian and practice barber shop quartet singing outside the ground to get into 'the zone'....
A polite nod of the head to the applauding gathered crowd and then off you go into the ground
There you go chaps..problem solved
Edit : and for the record - Im firmly in the 'FFS stop singing that Muniesa song' camp
its a bit poo tbh

Anyone catch the Celtic/Malmö game midweek (On during the Luton game)? You guys should bring that sensual serenading music to the Prem!.

Everyone knows that live songs are much faster than their studio versions.

That's where the conductor needs to be.Its a new thing isn't it,this up tempo singing......God forbid we need a drum, but even a "figurehead" that we can see clapping his hands in the required tempo would do I reckon.

It tends to be the hand claps that speed things up but this is not always the case. The sunderland fans have got a chant for Pantillimon which is meant to be to the tune of 4 non blondes-What's going on but when they sing it, it sounds nothing like it because it's sung way too quick.

Sing Delilah and We'll Be With You how they're meant to be sung, just one. For the love of God, just once.
