Well they all get dubious looks from me....all the athletes, cyclists, swimmers - they're all at it. You're telling me that they're NOT taking some sort of drug to perform like that - YEAH RIGHT ! Just like Armstrong, one of the top top sporting icons will be found out sooner or later and then the whole thing starts again..... Correct . It's easy to manipulate drugs tests when there's that kind of money involved . Wouldn't shock me to find out anyone was on gear I used to love watching athletics when I was young, but I can't be arsed with it any more, because of the drugs in the sport. How is Gatlin clear to race when he has failed 2 drugs tests before? Even at LA in 1984, the authorities were hiding positive test results because the fucking podium would be empty if the truth came out!

Going to Northwood stadium with the school as a kid and competing in sprint hurdles and replay was the highlight of my year , followed the athletes of yesteryear with great interest but like football my interest isn't what it used to me. If it wasn't for Stoke I wouldn't even watch the nogger any more .

But check what happened after the race - remarkable (as David Coleman might have said).

As my old cycling coach used to say if it looks too good to be true it probably is as he tossed another bag of blood into the freezer for use later.

And Mo Farah becomes an athletics "Great" - first winner of the long distance double at successive world championships (and the Olympics for good measure) Stunning achievement.

4th in the medals table behind Kenya, Jamaica and the USA with 4 golds, 1 silver and 2 bronze is a great performance.
And in Rutherford, Ennis and Farah we have some world class performers. Looks promising for the Olympics next year.
