So you're happy with more penny pinching and a weakening of the first XI? Well good for you! I'm not. In footballing terms our squad is a brilliant, strong squad. Stop dampening everything, were four games in. At the end of December moan all you like if we're bottom of the league but I guarantee you we will be nowhere near that.

Butland Johnson Cameron Muniesa Pieters Jedinak Whelan Shaqiri Bojan Arnautovic Diouf Vs Begovic Bardsley shawcross Wilson Pieters N'Zonzi Whelan Walters Bojan Moses Diouf Thoughts? Progress? Worse off? Better off? Worse off. Nzonzi was a huge loss. Not worse off, I think some are just confusing Nzonzi's end of season form last season with how he was overall.... Only time will tell with the team we have now, but for me there's certainly no cause for concern after only 4 games..... I mean..... LIVERPOOL: for me Liverpool looked as scared as hell, they must have gone over and over and over the reply of the video from last season about a million times, their objective was NOT TO CONCEDE first and foremost and that drew Stoke to a stalemate....it was always gonna take a goal like it did to win it.....unfortunately it didn't come our way......verdict, a missed opportunity. TOTTENHAM: did extremely well to come back from a poor first half deficit, managed to get ourselves back in it and then ended up unlucky not to walk away with all 3 points.......verdict, did well away at WHL. NORWICH: off to a great start but then pegged back somewhat......verdict: only game for me that's probably been a little cause for concern, none the less, still a good point AWAY from home!!! And WEST BROM: apart from two silly moments, this is a game we could....nay, SHOULD have won......verdict, should have won, but threw away!!! So that's 4 games in, and a rediculous amount of worrying from certain people!!!

Well at the end of last season with thought that with 3 seasons we could have been challenging in the top 8 and higher. Genuinely looked like an exciting time was on the horizon. Now it looks like we'll do well for the top half. We will have done well though.

How many times do players come and not sign ? No surprise a poor end to a truly catastrophic window we started it 9th on a role and have finished if - underselling. Our player of the season - underinvesting in the team - talking big and acting small - not Covering a known injury risk in the spine of the team - in the bottom 3 with no wins , no clean sheets and 2 points from fixtures last year gave us 10 If I felt as bad as you do about this transfer window, I'd put on some Coldplay records & end it all.

It's a bit strange how we are prepared to lose Walters for nothing and not £2.5m and not pay Jedinak what he wanted, money clearly no object to us.

We're genuinely an injury away from Whelan to being in real trouble and not just me moaning trouble.

CHECK! Sidwell isn't really back up, he's awful. CHECK! We haven't got another left winger bar Moha who isn't ready. CHECK! Walters handed in a transfer request yesterday. CHECK! Whelan's holding this side together, if he gets injured I dread to think.

Even the most deluded optimists don't rate several of our players:Bardsley, Sidwell, Tex, Wolly with verdicts out on Afellay, van Ginkel and doubts regarding Arnie(attitude), Ryan(fitness), Bojan(fitness), Odem(fitness). How, we can have such a strong squad when even the most slavishly pro owners admit to fundamental doubts, I really don't know. It's a case of praying for the best and hoping they're going to be heard!

Is the deal definitely off then ? The deal sheet was submitted before 18:00 so in theory we have until 20:00 to agree terms and sign him but sounds like he's already on the M1 back to London according to reports........

However, you have not built constructively on them nor have you given credit where it has most certainly been due. Therefore I can only assume you are either a very mild troll, sat with cock in hand in the delight of the attention you get or you are a very sad Fail fan in it for shits and giggles. If not, then you are a prick and this Board is worse for the dire tripe and drivel you repeatedly post, most of the time illegibly! So Just do one you petulant, repetitively negative twat! Your posts aren't welcome and are certainly not wanted by the majority of the posters on this Board. You're a cretin and I'm pig sick of ignoring your posts now.

Just to lighten things up a little
HLTCO @hltco 1h1 hour ago Mile Jedinak's move to Stoke has broken down after the Australian realised he would have to live in Stoke...
Actually it's all about money that won't be coming his way or he would have signed

From the papers it seems like Stoke and Jedinak had a deal in place, but Jedinak's representatives then upped their demands. The club wouldn't accept that the goalposts were moved and the deal fell through. I must say I agree to how Stoke have handled this if this is the truth!

The deal was all in place until palace refused to pay him his loyalty payment. Mile refused to leave without it and told stoke they would have to incorporate the amount he would lose into the deal. Stoke refused and the deal fell through
