If you have a spare £1 and are sympathetic to the cause, please join supporters from all around the world to help the world's first football club Sheffield FC (my second team!) in their quest to return to their home. The place where football first started. I know there are many more worthy causes in the world but its a great little semi-pro club and I know any donations will be well appreciated and well invested. Apologies for non-Stoke City post, but I guess there is a connection here with all of us! See links for further details. www.sheffieldfc.com/news/home-football-campaign-information

The FA and the Premier League are shitting money. They should dig in their pockets. Its interesting because this appeal was sent out to all clubs in the Premiership and the FA. No replies yet. Premiership clubs were also asked to donate the promotion of it through their social media . 2 replies. One said it didn't fit in with their marketing strategy at present. The other said it only shared sponsored and paid content across their channels, and offered a facebook post on their page at £25 a shot. Having said that Borussia Dortmund have donated £2k

The FSF chairman, Malcolm Clarke, is a Stokie and posts on this board - but you probably know that.
